This week marked the beginning of my 2nd Year IT journey. Despite being an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student, I found myself placed in a mechanic garage. But since I firmly believe that no knowledge goes to waste, I'm determined to make the most of my time by learning as much as I can. This week, I learnt more about tires, the different pressure gauges for various automobiles, the proper way to lose tires off a car and how to reattach them, the differences between tubed and tubeless tires, and even how to repair punctures. Additionally, I was introduced to a car's brake system. I was able to understand the functions of components such as brake pads, brake discs, ABS, and so on and how they work together. I further gained more insights into the differences between 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive vehicles, including their respective advantages and disadvantages. And to top it off, I had the opportunity to participate in fixing a car's gear and another car's radiator. It was certainly a stressful week, but I enjoyed it. Below is a picture of me at the garage. #Internship #mechanic #engineering
