NAFSCE - National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement offered an insightful session on engaging fathers. Finding ways to welcome fathers to increase involvement & engagement in schools is critical. This was a reminder to be intentional in efforts to bring fathers to schools. Many schools are not equipped to relate and / or understand the needs of fathers. An asset based approach to fathers can have a strong impact on a child.s future just as much as an asset based approach to mothers.
