These interlocking eco bricks made from shredded plastic waste.
Not only did he develop the shredder, he also built a circular system:
- the plastic from baling wraps, greenhouse film and silage bags does no longer end up on landfill sites,
- with the bricks of PLAEX Building Systems Inc. tons of garbage from a traditional construction site of a house are prevented,
- the used plastic makes bricks less water-absorbing than concrete (0,3 vs. 8-10%) and almost unbreakable. They can be re-used and re-built, a circular design.
