David Schwarz, Founder and Creative Partner of Brooklyn-based design studio HUSH, joins Adobe for a lively discussion on the intersection of design, psychological behaviors, and massive spaces. Together, we’ll explore the digital aspects of mega-experiences—examining how sound, light, movement, scale, information hierarchy, and technology shape environments like airports and mixed-use developments.

Loved this! It’s fascinating to see how designing permanent spaces changes not just the creative approach but also the way you collaborate with clients and tackle day-to-day challenges.

A great trip to Eindhoven. Really interesting breadth of work on show. Some things we noted;
> Sustainability: Designers are continuing to look for broader approaches to delvering environmentally conscious solutions, going beyond mere material selection and recyclability to consider societal changes in consumption.
> 3D Printing: Being explored and utilised by designers in all sectors - from jewellery and textiles, to buildings and landscapes.
> Design Process: When you think Phillips, it’s hard not to picture prestine laboratories and white coats. However, if their exhibition is to be believed, they follow the same fluid, and often messy, ‘design-thinking’ approach many of us swear by.
Dutch Design Week was the perfect hit of creativity.
Seeing product and industrial designers, like ourselves, sharing spaces with experimental creatives and artists perfectly showcased how we can sit comfortably in both the pragmatic and conceptual worlds.
Shining a light on every detail ✨
One of Studio Lumen's Senior Designers, Poonam Mehta, was a key speaker at Light + Intelligent Building Middle East on the insightful panel discussion: "Creativity: Details Matter – Why Details are Critical to Good Lighting."
The panel explored the transformative power of meticulous lighting design, showing how attention to the smallest details can elevate a space and enhance our perception and experience.
At Studio Lumen, we understand that it's the details that make a space unforgettable. We're passionate about infusing creativity into every lighting project to achieve designs that are not only functional but truly inspirational.
These panel discussions are an ideal opportunity to spark meaningful conversations that inspire innovation and shape the future of the lighting industry 🖤

I just finished watching Abstract: The Art of Design on Netflix. It's a must-watch for any design enthusiast.
Here is a link to the same: https://lnkd.in/gg7agpmz
Here are some highlights from "Abstract: The Art of Design"
Ilse Crawford on Interior Design: Ilse Crawford's episode is particularly relevant, as it delves into how design can engage the senses and promote well-being. She showcases her work from high-end hotels to collaborations with IKEA, emphasizing that design is not just about aesthetics but also about enhancing human behavior and actions. This could inspire how you approach your projects to focus on improving life quality.
Design Philosophy: The series explores the philosophy behind design, where creators like Crawford discuss that design impacts every aspect of life. Her approach, focusing on comfort and practicality, could be a model for how to think about interior spaces that truly serve the people who use them.
Innovative Design Processes: Each episode features designers from various fields, but the underlying theme is the innovative process of design. For instance, how Crawford integrates sensory experiences into her designs could translate into strategies for your firm in creating more immersive and functional spaces.
Cultural Impact: The series highlights how design shapes culture. This perspective could be valuable for positioning your firm not just as a service provider but as a cultural contributor in Bangalore, influencing how people live and interact with their environments.
Education and Inspiration: "Abstract" serves as an educational tool, offering insights into different design disciplines. Watching this could inspire your team to explore new design philosophies or techniques, possibly leading to innovative projects or collaborations in your firm.
Global Design Influence: The series includes a diverse range of designers, which could be enlightening for understanding global design trends. This might help in expanding your design language, and possibly integrating international elements into your local projects.

Big News:
Meet Creative Wall Design!
Over the years, we’ve built businesses that solve problems and bring something meaningful to the table. And today, I’m buzzing to unveil the newest addition to the family: Creative Wall Design.
https://lnkd.in/eX2wsPxf
Although we already supply Wall art through city signs and graphics, creative wall design specialise in transforming walls in schools, hospitals, and workplaces, turning dull, lifeless spaces into places that inspire, heal, and create a lasting impression.
Think murals that bring corridors to life, designs that calm anxious patients, or wall art that sparks creativity in classrooms.
It’s more than just making walls look pretty—it’s about creating environments that genuinely make a difference for the people who use them.
please do us a favour: give Creative Wall Design a follow. 💙 Whether it’s for a project, a collaboration, or just to stay in the loop, we’d love to have you along for the journey.
We’re ready to make an impact, one wall at a time. Let’s do this! 🙌

This Thursday at MCEC! Looking forward to hearing from Libby Staggs presentation and then unpacking this important issue in our industry with these experts on the panel including Katherine FeatherstoneProduct Aware asks suppliers questions around modern slavery - for example if they have had any incidences in their supply chain and if they have a Modern Slavery Action Plan.
It may sound like a hard task to abolish modern day slavery but we felt this was such an important factor to highlight and prioritise when selecting products. We know that supply chains involve labour that can be hard to trace, but that doesn’t mean we can be complacent.
Slavery is regrettably embedded in the history of the construction industry and continues today. Unfortunately many people forget about the construction industry when discussing these issues and instead focus on for example, only the fashion industry.
Hopefully we can work together as an industry to end these harmful working conditions for other people, like ourselves, with families, who deserve respect.
If you care about where and how your products are made, please ask your suppliers to answer the questions on www.productaware.com.au.
