The 13th Annual Directors and Company Secretaries Conference had good self reflective moments for Strategy professionals especially the session on Navigating Boardroom Dynamics. I learnt the importance of self awareness which if well used can help you achieve the strategic agenda in the Boardroom. This might involve seeking genuine views from your peers and pondering on these self assessment questions on your Boardroom influence sphere; 1. Who listens to you when you speak? 2. Who asks for your advice or seeks your opinion? 3. Who follows your recommendations ? 4. Who advocates for you or shares positive things about you ? 5. Who gives you genuine feedback? 6. Who respects your experience and in what area ? The people who will appear in these answers will most likely sponsor your strategic agenda in the Boardroom. #strategy #Boardroomdynamics
