Generalized AI models will only go so far. Everyone has access to the same models, so how will you be different? the real value will come from leveraging data that only you have. the next wave of AI will benefit companies that have a robust data infrastructure that can feed data into smaller AI models effectively and effeciently.

Has general artificial intelligence finally arrived? Jury is out, but one thing's for certain... While we've moved beyond the issue flagged by this meme, enterprise-ready AI needs more than a flashy model to deliver business value. Large Language Model or Small Language Model, the value of your AI lies in the context data you feed it. General artificial intelligence may (or may not) be around the corner, but understanding what's valuable to your data consumers—and how your own reliable first-party data can be leveraged into AI or ML to solve that problem—is where the real intelligence happens. And that's intelligence that comes from within your data team—not without it. #genAI #dataengineers #LLMs
