It's to work on global projects, dealing with co-workers from all over the world on amazing topics like people development, training, internal communication, diversity and inclusion, engagement, people analytics projects and others. This person will help us develop projects from scratch and with great impact on the business, helping Schréder to reinvent the lighting sector and shape the future. They will also be challenged to think outside the box, and we expect they challenge us to think differently, too - we love this! This person will work directly with me, have the amazing Maria Lopes as a BFF, and be impacted by Inês' inspiring leadership. Working to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion is naturally challenging enough. Working in a company with a presence in more than 30 countries and a pretty traditional sector, I can say it's even more challenging. Expressing our principles is vital, but what truly matters is the consistency and continuity of the actions we promote. That's why, when I see the heartfelt testimonies of my colleagues, I feel so proud of the journey we are building at Schréder. May this day be another reason for us to reflect on our biases and what we can do to change the reality that women still face in the labour market in general (and in other spheres, too). Taking this opportunity: I want to thank all Schréder women for inspiring me and being exceptional work colleagues.
