It is a delight to have been one of the contributors of the first-ever European music city policy guide. The collaborative aspect that made this possible signifies the growing interest and cross-sectoral recognition of a policy area which when harnessed intelligently could unlock the potential for sustainable spaces and places through music. Music Cities Network | Center for Music Ecosystems | MusicAIRE - An innovative recovery for Europe
We are delighted to finally share the European Music Policy Guide... the first-ever music city policy guide... produced in partnership with the Center for Music Ecosystems and over 100 experts from the EU and internationally. This guide bears the results of 8 roundtables, close collaborative work with specially selected guest speakers, facilitators, co-authors and peer reviewers. We are proud of this truly collaborative project - and hope that as well as being a useful document, it also signifies the growing appreciation of good music policy and its outward, positive ripple effect around the world. A special thanks to our partners Center for Music Ecosystems and funders MusicAIRE - An innovative recovery for Europe - as well as each and every one of our 100+ collaborators. The guide will be launched in person this afternoon by Shain Shapiro PhD and Lena Ingwersen at Reeperbahn Festival - catch them there or contact us directly to find out more.
