It also exacerbates climate change, causes economic losses, and reduces agricultural productivity. It knows no borders – everyone has a responsibility to protect our atmosphere and ensure healthy air for all. By collaborating across borders, sectors, and silos, we can reduce air pollution through collective investments of time, resources and efforts. This International Day of Clean Air for blue skies, we call upon everyone—from governments and corporations to civil society and individuals—to Invest in #CleanAirNow. By tackling air pollution proactively, we can achieve transformative change and secure healthy air for all."

Dear Network here comes my 5 cents on personal transportation and travel How to help climate, biodiversity and pollution by your use of transportation and travel: Our use of cars is a source to a lot of CO2 emission and pollution. Travel by air is another source of very high CO2 emission and air pollution. Almost 9.000.000 people die yearly due to air pollution Actions: Use your bike and use public transportation When by car do it electrically and share as much as possible Why not do your vacation locally or travel by train The outcome from above actions will really reduce your CO2 emission and help reducing pollution.
