The circle of life becomes clear when caring for people at end of life. Just as we focused on our newborn's intake, output, and sleeping patterns, we watch the same in our dying patients. At birth we follow a steady increase, whereas at end of life, we follow a steady decrease. It is a natural process. Advanced Hospice Information Line: 412-710-7300

Bluebird's Bradford services have been augmented by the addition of night roaming. These are pop-in care visits to you in your own home through the night. As with our daytime Home Care service, our Night Roaming service is focused on supporting you to remain in your home. Other benefits include: - Reduce the risk of falls and, therefore, hospitalisation. - Spaced-out regular care visits can avoid moving into a residential care home. - Rest and peace of mind for your family during the night allows them to spend quality time with you during the day. - You decide on the time and length of visits, putting you in control - A little support can increase your independence. Bluebird Night Roaming care assistants can help by: - Assisting with toilet visits and pad changes at night. - Assisting you to get out of bed etc if you need to. - Assisting with medication. - Checking doors and windows, ensuring your home is secure. How long are Night Roaming care visits? The length of care visits depends on what help the customer requires. Care visits can be from 30 minutes upwards with no maximum limit. Contact us on 01274 649090 or bradford@bluebirdcare.co.uk for an informal chat about your care needs.

At Home Instead Dartford, we believe in the importance of longer visits with our clients. Here are a few reasons why: Building relationships: Longer visits allow our Care Professionals to spend more time with their clients, getting to know them and building a lasting relationships. This can improve the overall quality of care and make the experience more personal and meaningful for both the Care Professional and the client. More time for care: Longer visits also allow our Care Professionals to provide more comprehensive care. This can include things like helping with personal care tasks, assisting with medication management, and providing companionship and emotional support. Improved outcomes: Research has shown that longer home care visits can lead to better health outcomes for clients, including fewer hospitalisations and improved quality of life. We are committed to providing high-quality care to our clients, and that includes offering longer visits with our Care Professionals. We believe that this approach can make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

💙Brian's thriving with live-in care from Home Instead💙 We've chatted about our lovely Brian already, but he's worth mentioning again, especially when it comes to #RespiteCare. He's just one of our wonderful stories that show how #LiveInCare with one of our Care Pros can make a massive difference. When setting up respite and live-in care, it's important to us to get it right. To make sure our client's loved one is receiving the right treatment - on their terms. Their independence, health and happiness are at the top of the list for us. Brian was always an active man, even into his later years 🎽🏃. Unfortunately, he found himself in hospital after a battle with his health 🏥 > With any extended hospital stay, there’s a risk of body deconditioning, poor sleep and depression, which can have a tangible impact on recovery in older patients. When Brian left hospital, he found that he simply couldn't be as active as he previously had been. Enter Kundi, Brian's Live-In Care Professional, and Laura, his Home Care Professional who's trained in reconditioning the body 💛. With Kundi and Laura by his side, Brian set himself the challenge 'to build his strength to walk into his garden and feel the sun on his face'.☀️💪 They helped keep him motivated, offered daily exercises and physio to get his strength up, and looked after his personal care. As you can tell by the photo below, Brian made it into the garden 🙌 Brian's story shows that even with a hospitalisation under our belts, all is not lost. With the right care, compassion and companionship, and with the right tools, our loved ones can set goals and smash them. Independence is one of the things we strive for most here for our elderly clients, and live-in care and respite care can be the right tools to help our loved ones. If you'd like to read Brian's story in full, you can find it here > https://lnkd.in/epsSq7tj #HomeInsteadUK #HomeInstead #CareProfessionals

Wow. It has been a long time since I posted anything, not because nothing has been happening...rather because of too much going on. Our clients these days are motivated and undertaking whole floor makeovers - starting with the front entrance. Have a look at how much a door wrap transferred this hospital's ALC unit's (often a long term home for patients with chronic conditions) entrance into a warmer invitation to enter. This is just the start of many changes within. The reverse side of the door is an "exit diversion" designed to reduce a patient/resident's desire to exit. All credit to our client for her wonderful vision of her patient's living space. We love making our clients' vision a reality. *Also note the Welcome sign addition to side banner. #adultdaycare,#memorycare,#alzheimerscare,#dementiacare,#carehomes,#carehomeenvironments,#nursinghomes,#occupationaltherapy,#recreationaltherapy,#behavioursupports,#behaviorsupports,#behavioursupportsontario,#psychogeriatricresourceconsultants,#hospitalenvironments,#hospicecare,#hospitalalc,#ltc,#longtermcare
