In yesterday's post, I wrote about my plan to create a spiritual community salon inspired by Jenny Ross' raw food/ living food restaurant "118 Degree", shoot a film there, and then open it as such for real. Let me describe this in more detail. Here's how it happened. Since May 2011, I have attended three times "Peace of Mind Workshop" organized by Hiroshi Ohuchi, Japanese translator of "A Course In Miracles," and his wife, Janet. The three workshops were held in Osaka, Tokyo, and at a hotel near Lake Yamanaka, near Mt. The Tokyo workshop featured Ronna Herman, an internationally known channeler of Archangel Michael. During these three workshops, I noticed that many of the participants had crystal bowls, a musical instrument. Someone explained to me that by placing the crystal bowl on the ground and ringing it, the vibrational frequency of the earth would be raised, aiding in ascension. I don't know the truth of this, but as a teenager who played drums, I was interested because I like percussion instruments, whatever they are. Incidentally, as a teenager I was not playing new age/spiritual music, at the time I started with the Sex Pistols and eventually played Metallica. By the way, these crystal bowls were not sold in music stores. I think it was only available through online shopping at that time. At least there were no dealers in the Kansai area where I live. I wish there were. I thought so, but I thought that such a business would probably not be profitable in the Kansai area, let alone in the Tokyo area. On the other hand, I liked the book "The Art of Raw Living Food," a book of raw food recipes created by Jenny Ross and Doreen Virtue, and wondered why there was no "118 Degree" in Japan. However, I also thought that such a restaurant would not be profitable in the Kansai area, let alone in the Tokyo area. It was around 2011. But what if you added the two together? It might become a business. So, I began to think that it would be nice to have a raw food/ living food restaurant with a space for selling crystal bowls. I recently wrote about how I started writing a screenplay for a movie in June 2012. The idea was to try to feature this restaurant in that script. In doing so, I decided to turn the entire second floor into a rental space with tatami mats. The characters could hold yoga classes, belly dance classes, and of course, crystal bowl concerts here. I also added a storyline setting in which the back of the building is an organic farm. The location is in Kobe. It is the metropolis where Andrés Iniesta was until recently. After thinking this far, it is natural to think that it would be a shame to leave it as a stage in a movie, and that it would benefit many people if it were opened as such a salon after the filming of the movie was over.

1 of the principle of training - individuality Usual walking route at the park connector with mum is 30mins. Today, I encouraged her to walk a slightly different route (longer distance). She started off very chatty but started to not talk and just walk. She was tired... Asked to take a break at the bench. Today I know 30 mins is her limit😅I found Cantonese opera to play on the phone to encourage her to continue the walk back😅 Start small and progress along the way. Everyone is different. Start and continue at a pace you are comfortable with :) Importantly, move it move it :) #selfcare #exercise

TL:DR: criticism is a trigger for me due to ten years of opera industry bullshit. I really do struggle with criticism. It’s one of my biggest issues - admittedly. For a decade I received it for the smallest things, the way my vowels were shaped, the way I produced my sound, having a beard and “hiding” my face, my weight, my tone and vocal quality (that can’t be controlled), so anytime I experience criticism from someone from the internet it triggers me because I don’t trust anyone who criticizes me on the internet to really have my best interest at heart. Just like most people I met in opera. So, as a defense mechanism I take criticism really badly and get emotional upfront. I can admit that. We’re all navigating something. Fear of failure, fear of not being accepted. Unsocilited criticism is my issue. I’m sure I’ll get better at it.

The law of magnesium: be-come and be discovered. The Opera metaphor used in America is "Opera walks into a bakery and shares her experience and suddenly everyone, hearing Opera, wants the cakes and whatever is in the bakery." This doesnt mean the bakery got amazing over night, it just means it was discovered. The baker knew they were making good things, they'd been providing and developing that produce and experience all along. The point is, dont do things to be noticed but do things the best way you know how and keep doing it regardless so that you become discovered. The law of magnesium states: "Like attracts like" which is true. What else is true is that people discover what they like first, then value it; it is never the other way around. You discover a good book, a good restaurant, a good person and so on. To discover you need to explore meaning such people are open, growing and not remaining fixed. Let yourself be discovered is the right path and brings the right people. My thinking is - you be-come: Be a champion to become a champion. Be a leader to become a leader. Manifest it in you first, "be" and it will "come" to you through the law of magnesium. Be good with the process and in your abilities, everything will manifest in equilibrium to your thinking, choices and continuous actions. Create a great day and be-come magnetic.

Just a tiny bit of air passing through squeezed Vocal Cords = GRUNT ((Lots of Subglottic Pressure & Muscular Tension) 3.) A pressurized stream of air passing through a narrow opening of the Vocal Cords in which they are not tense but also not loose, and in which during vibration they are more closed than the are open = CORRECT Vocal Cord closure for OPERA SINGING. (Subglottic pressure is balanced for resonance) ✅ 4.) Stream of air passing through a narrow opening of loose cords in which during vibration the Vocal cords are more apart than they are together = Reinforced falsetto (very little subglottic pressure & less resonance) 5.) Lots of air passing through loose Vocal Cords still creating vibration but the cords are much more apart than they are together = Falsetto (almost no subglottic pressure, no resonance, and very breathy quality) 6.)
