It's becoming increasingly clear that a one-size-fits-all approach to mining supervisor training isn’t cutting it. When we speak with potential clients, they’re realising that their current model of providing identical training to both mining and corporate office supervisors isn't delivering the desired results. Feedback from supervisors themselves echoes this sentiment: the unique rhythm and focus of a mining supervisor's role demands a tailored approach. It’s time to recognise that while there are similarities, the challenges and responsibilities of a mining supervisor are distinct. We’re thrilled that our clients are embracing this shift and recognising the value of the National Supervisor Skills Institute specialised approach. A day of mining visits during consultancy activities is full of dynamism and learning. It begins with a detailed analysis of the equipment in operation and the processes in place. During technical visits, preventive and corrective maintenance systems are observed, identifying opportunities for optimization. Meetings with the technical and management team are essential to understand the specific challenges faced by the company. The exchange of knowledge between consultants and employees is enriching, aiming for continuous improvements. During visits, inspections are carried out in production areas, seeking to identify possible bottlenecks and opportunities to increase efficiency. Security and compliance issues are also closely evaluated, ensuring operations are aligned with industry norms and standards. At the end of the day, recommendations and action plans are presented to optimize the operation, reduce costs and increase productivity, always aiming for sustainability and good long-term performance of the company.

Each of these elements helps assess the potential challenges and uncertainties associated with drilling operations." We added new factors : -NPT -DRILLING CONTRACTOR TRACK HISTORY -MEDIATION MODULE. WHAT IS THE RESULT : Mapping the well-known risk levels (low, medium, high, critical) to number rankings using a numerical range that aligns with the qualitative descriptions of each risk level. Here's a way you could associate number rankings with these risk levels: Low Risk: Assigning a numerical range, such as 0 to 3, to represent low-risk scenarios. Risks falling within this range would be considered low-risk and have minor impact and low likelihood. Medium Risk: Assigning a numerical range, such as 4 to 6, to represent medium-risk scenarios. Risks in this range would indicate moderate impact and likelihood, falling between low and high. High Risk: Assigning a numerical range, such as 7 to 9, to represent high-risk scenarios. Risks in this range would indicate substantial impact and likelihood, warranting significant attention. Critical Risk: Assigning a numerical range, such as 10 to 12, to represent critical-risk scenarios. Risks falling within this range would signify a severe impact and very high likelihood, requiring immediate action. With this approach, we can use the assigned number rankings to quickly assess and categorize risks into one of the four well-known risk levels. Soon will be released the trial version. Coordinate with the Shift Boss: Before embarking on any task, always consult with the shift boss. Inform them of the job details and anticipated timeframe. This step sets the stage for seamless coordination and alignment with ongoing activities in the mine. 2. Identify Equipment Location: Knowing the precise location of the equipment relative to the breakthrough sign is crucial. This ensures efficient access and minimizes disruptions to operations. 3. Engage with the Operator: Approach the operator responsible for the breakthrough sign. Halt their operation and request their assistance in safely opening the sign. By involving the operator, you ensure compliance with safety protocols and authorized access. 4. Commence Work: With the breakthrough sign open, proceed with the job as planned. Remain vigilant and adhere to safety guidelines throughout the operation to prevent accidents or injuries. 5. Secure the Site: Upon completing the task, it's the operator's responsibility to promptly close the breakthrough sign. This action secures the site and prevents unauthorized access to hazardous areas within the mine. 6. Inform the Shift Boss: Once the sign is closed and the site secured, communicate with the shift boss to report the successful completion of the job. This ensures that the shift boss is aware of the site's status and can plan future operations accordingly. By following these steps diligently and maintaining open communication, we uphold the highest standards of safety in underground mining operations.
