Efficient and compact power conversion!
Check out our presentation given at The Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) this year, titled “Efficient and compact power conversions made possible with GaN technology.” The presentation showcases an all GaN HEMTs based 1kW 48V-12V unregulated LLC solution, with GaN power devices on both the primary and secondary sides. Which uses our recent SolidGaN solution (ISG3201) to integrate a half-bridge with driver and protection, etc., all in one package. This results in a converter that's 70% smaller than a Silicon counterpart, while delivering peak efficiency of 98.5%!
