Is your client always out of the loop? Misaligned expectations can lead to wasted time and money. Instead of relying solely on before-and-after shots in your marketing, try incorporating simple educational content that addresses your clients' common questions upfront. For example, homeowners emotionally invested in their renovation projects are more likely to engage with a video that answers a pressing question. This not only helps manage expectations but builds trust along the way. If you know someone struggling with client management, share this with them—they’ll thank you later! #ContentStrategy #ClientManagement #BusinessGrowth #MarketingTips #HomeRenovation

My free messaging audits are better than a lot of paid stuff. I don't give you generic advice. Or fluffy tips. I tell you exactly what gaps I see and suggestions (with examples) of how to implement those changes. You also walk away with clear next steps (that you can do without me or with me if you want the support). My free audits give you a clear blueprint of how to better reach your business goals without having to burn it all down. And it's easy to implement with the steps broken down. DM me "Audit" if you want to consistently attract higher quality leads with your messaging and content.

Common mistakes financial firms make in client newsletters: 🚫 Weak subject lines: use subject lines that spark curiosity and interest. 🚫 Too many topics: stick to 1-2 key points to keep readers engaged. 🚫 Too wordy: aim for concise, focused content. 🚫 Too sales-focused: readers don’t want to be pitched to in every email. 🚫 Boring tone: show your brand voice and stand out. 🚫 No personality: connect with readers by telling stories. 🚫 No images or GIFs: visuals break up text and keep things engaging. 🚫 Tiny font: use a readable size, especially on mobile. 🚫 Lack of white space: make it easy to read with clear spacing. 🚫 No clear call-to-action: every newsletter should guide readers toward the next step. Ready to up your newsletter game? I can help. Drop me a DM and let's chat. 📣 PS: Exciting news! I've launched my own newsletter for financial services marketing people. Messaging is not... - a hack - a trend - a business buzzword And it's also not... - your content - your elevator pitch - your marketing strategy You: Okay, Abi - so what is it then? Me: So glad you asked 😁 Messaging is the backbone of your whole business. The bright light that sits at the core of everything you do. Without crystal-clear messaging, your content, elevator pitch, marketing (and everything else in your business) feel messy and undefined. And trust me, nobody wants to spend money on 'messy and undefined'. Your messaging needs to be so clear that immediately people can: ⚡ see it ⚡ understand it ⚡ want to be part of it If your messaging isn't delivering you this 👆🏼, it's time to ask yourself what it IS delivering... ------- I'm Abi and my messaging x-ray is a 1:1 service that helps you get clarity, confidence and momentum so you can talk about your work in a way that feels great and makes sales. I have no medical expertise whatsoever, so working with me on your x-ray does not require you to put on a blue gown and potentially flash your bum.

“You need to give value for 6 months before closing clients.” Here are 2 of my recent client results: 1. Signed a client within 7 days of working together. 2. Signed a client within 13 days of working together. None of them were posting content before starting to work with me. And we didn’t share “value” content. We shared “insight” content. Here’s why: Value content motivates readers to try it for themselves. That’s when you get messages like: “I’ll try it and let you know.” “I’d love to work with you SOMEDAY.” “Can you answer 10 more questions for me?” Insight content motivates readers to work with you: They shift the belief of your ideal clients. They show what’s important and why it is important. But they don’t reveal the “How” of the process. That’s when you get messages like: “I want to work with you.” “What’s the process of working together?” “Invoice paid.” And my clients and I prefer the second type of message. You decide what you want.
