In case you need further evidence that focusing your recruitment efforts on technology talent is a great investment, a study conducted by Robert Half found that 90% of the tech leaders surveyed plan to implement AI-related initiatives in the next year. However, 48% of these leaders don't have staff with the AI skills to support this goal. Sourcing technology talent is a widespread issue that doesn’t appear to be abating, as shown by other significant findings from the Robert Half survey: 95% of tech leaders are having trouble finding skilled talent. 65% of tech leaders acknowledge a skills gap within their department. 62% feel the skills gap has a greater impact today than it did a year ago. 51% anticipate not being able to fill skilled technology positions due to a lack of applicants with the right skill sets.
