At a high level, the Diversity Action Plan aims to increase enrollment and retention of clinically relevant study populations in clinical research by ensuring adequate representation of study participants that reflect different age groups, geographic locations, gender identities, sexual orientations, socioeconomic statuses, physical and mental disabilities, and more.
