I'm so excited about this podcast episode about getting rid of triage in community health. It's important to consider how triage is almost always a barrier to access and high-quality care. Untangling this complicated process is both profoundly simple and challenging because it requires that we rethink providing care. It is critical for the community healthcare industry as we move toward APMs. #valuebasedhealthcare #triage #podcast
Explore with us as we delve into the urgent call to move “Beyond Band-Aid Solutions.” In this episode, we make a heartfelt plea for the elimination of triage in community health, pushing for sustainable, transformative approaches that address root causes. So true, everyone should get the best experience at end of life. Please share with people who can help with this survey
Everyone deserves the best experience possible at the end of life, with access to high quality care and support when and where they need it most. Marie Curie and NHS East of England are conducting a study to understand the experiences of people in the East of England who are living with a terminal illness, supporting or caring for someone with a terminal illness, or have been bereaved in the last two years. The findings and insights will be shared with those responsible for making decisions about palliative and end of life care in the East of England – so together we can ensure a better end of life for all The survey can be accessed here: https://lnkd.in/eMrs7hvU.

Quote: “”Who are “THEY”? “We have to name the names” in the worst miscarriage of medical science in history. Is it the World Health Organization? Dr. David Martin says Tedros is just a puppet with a “giant stick up his ass.” “But who’s moving the stick for the puppet?” The answer is, according to Dr. David Martin: • Bill Gates • The Wellcome Trust • The Rockefeller Foundation “By 2023, which is kind of where we are right now, Gates represents 88% of the donations to the World Health Organization from donor organizations and agencies. By any definition, that’s a controlling interest.” Bill Gates is no philanthropist; he’s laundering money into the World Health Organization. And when Gates and others state that having vaccinations where they are needed could potentially lead to as much as a 20% reduction in the Earth’s population, according to Dr. Martin, “those are not allegations; those are stated objectives.” @DrDMartinWorld “ It is Becoming very serious day by day. Being professional is only one tiny part of the humans life and majority will turn head other way, I cannot. I know all are busy with their own things, me to, however at times need to get up to the helicopter view to understand how all is connected. Watch 1 video and part 2.

Are you hysterical? Or are your health concerns routinely dismissed & ignored? Medical gaslighting occurs when healthcare professionals dismiss or trivialize a patient's symptoms, often leading to misdiagnosis or delayed treatment. Women, in particular, are disproportionately affected by this issue. Studies show that compared to men, women experience significantly longer wait times for diagnoses of critical conditions such as cancer and heart disease. Additionally, women are less likely to receive aggressive treatment for traumatic brain injuries and are often under-prescribed pain medications. This disparity not only underscores the prevalence of implicit biases in medical treatment but also highlights the urgent need for systemic changes within healthcare practices to ensure equitable and empathetic treatment for all patients. Another 20 plus full page ads in NEJM 6/20/2024 for costly drugs while editorially bemoaning the poor care of the homeless. What hypocrisy by the NEJM. Taking millions from big pharma about drugs the homeless would or could never get. Wonder how much a nonprofit organization is getting for these ads? Standardofcare.com
