We had a great time turning downtown Sonora pink last night in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! For more than a decade, Adventist Health Sonora has hosted Ladies Night Out to bring our community together and raise awareness about breast cancer care and prevention. Thank you to all the downtown businesses who helped make last night's event a success, and thank you to dozens of our staff who volunteered their time to educate our community about breast health. When caught early, treatment outcomes for diseases like breast cancer are greatly improved. So use this as your reminder to talk with your provider about the health screenings that are right for you, and make sure your loved ones are staying on top of their screenings, too!

Elizabeth Naylor woke up in the middle of the night and knew something was wrong. One week after her mammogram, the news of stage three breast cancer hung heavy in the air.
