Today, my boss Sarah Gilbertson and I, aka the #DreamTeam, hit the streets of Sittingbourne 🚶♀️🚶 for a spot of canvassing and what a day! Not only did we soak up some glorious sunrays ☀️️ (admittedly we weren't dressed for it at all, coats and scarves were definitely not needed; surely we weren't the only ones who got caught out and missed the memo that we were skipping Spring and heading straight into Summer?!) but we also met a lot of great people! Lots of potential new clients who have worked with agencies before which is music to our ears, but not with an agency who works in the way that we do so lots of potential both for them and us going forwards 🙂 I love how many meetings we've pencilled into our diaries already 📅 there really is something special about face-to-face interactions; they break down barriers and allow us to connect on such a better level. Plus, having my boss by my side? Well, that's the cherry on top! 🍒 We're like Batman and Robin but with less spandex (you're welcome 😀) and more strategy and streamlined recruitment processes 😎 The only downside? My bag of Jammie Dodgers, the ultimate canvassing treat, just wasn't quite big enough, they vanished before they could even make the picture. 📸 Seems they were a hit! I break my recruit tiers into 3 buckets; 1 - Proven competitors, relentless in the pursuit of excellence and customer success, they don’t chase money and their earnings reflect the higher mission. I require you to be a business partner to me, be a leader on the floor and gatekeeper of our culture. 2 - Aspiring competitors - those who are still pursuing an exit/money/brand. Once these surrounding factors are satisfied they’re looking to be driven to 1’s. I require you to follow the process, master it and bring your team on the journey. 3 - Contenders - those high potential in lower performing companies/cultures - they can’t know what they don’t know but have always outperformed internal competition.
