Nearshoring close to US staff has become a bigger topic lately as more organizations want closer time, physical and cultural connections to build stronger teams. It also helps companies with first-time outsourcing efforts to be more connected with easier travel and work-time overlap. I visited the Aeries Technology Guadalajara location with Chuy Michel and Ajay Khare to meet the team and was really impressed with how well Aeries is scaling talent for clients to help them, particularly in the areas of Customer Service and Software Development. The salary cost savings is not as significant as in India (~50% vs ~66 lower cost), but the advantages for proximity, language, and team-building are very real.
