A historic milestone in ground handling regulation! Yesterday, the EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency Committee voted in favor of the Implementing Regulation on ground handling and the amendment of Regulation (EU) 965/2012. The delegated regulations, including the GH Regulation for organizations, the amendment to ADR Regulation 139/2014, and Part-IS, also received positive support. The adoption process will be finalized after the European Parliament’s scrutiny period, with publication expected in January 2025. EASA will make an official announcement once this step is completed. #aviation #groundhandling #regulations #EASA #euregulations

The UK CAA has released CAP 3037 (V1) - Part 145 Guidance, focusing on developing a comprehensive receiving and inspection system for aircraft parts and materials. This guidance not only enhances the UK aviation industry's performance but also aids in managing organisational risks effectively. Organisations can utilise this document to conduct audits, thereby improving existing systems and identifying potential gaps. Even if you are not a UK CAA approved Part 145 organisation, such as an EASA or FAA Repair Station, this guidance can still elevate aviation safety standards across the board. #UKCAA #AviationSafety #OrganisationalRisks #Part145Guidance #bluealtitude #easa #faa
