Did you know that 17,000 flights taking off daily are safeguarded by our flight tracking application? 🤓 This means that 3,800 dispatchers can manage and make more precise decisions, with less effort. And thanks to closing the gaps for OCCs to collaborate with the cockpit, over 60 airlines (and 4,000 planes) fly safer. And these are not just numbers. It’s a testament to the trust airlines place in us to help power their flights safely and efficiently. Don’t believe us? Hear from them yourself 😉 Want to know more about why airline OCCs fell in love with SITA Mission Watch? Let’s talk - https://lnkd.in/d-xczwhm #FlightSafety #FlightTracking #Aviation #Airlines

Emirates Fined for Flights in Prohibited Airspace with US Airline Code! In a significant move, the U.S. Department of Transportation has fined Middle Eastern airline Emirates €1.6 million for operating flights that passed too low over Iraq, areas off-limits to U.S. airlines. This action comes as part of a broader enforcement of aviation safety regulations. The fine was levied after an investigation revealed that between December 2021 and August 2022, Emirates operated a significant number of flights carrying JetBlue Airways’ designator code in airspace prohibited by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to U.S. airlines. #Airport #Airline #Emirates #FAA #USDOT #JetBlue #AviationIndustry #AviationOasis https://lnkd.in/e6augcex

Several customers have indicated that Airbus warned them about potential delivery delays. For example, Spirit Airlines highlighted in its Q4 2023 report that the manufacturer notified the airline in late 2022 that some aircraft deliveries, initially scheduled for 2023, would be delayed into 2024 and beyond. This has seen the low-cost carrier reduce capacity expectations in the future. Read more at: https://lnkd.in/dHw2MVaU #AviationTalk #aviationnews #avgeek #aviation
