Leadership and healthcare management course completed

This week I had the great opportunity to present an discuss the results of my research NEW DYNAMICS FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN HEALTHCARE - A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW at the European Acadamy of Management conference in Bath. Since the digital transformation causes a paradigm shift, this topic is of relevance for almost every part of life and work. This systematic literature review aims to shed light on the question of how individuals can be engaged in sustained learning as an essential new capability to successfully implement the transformational process and increase the quality of working life in the changed workplace context. The results highlight the need for further research on the individual level, shaping change management for digital transformation with a fundamental shift in mindsets and identifying sustained learning as a decisive factor for digital transformation in healthcare. Delighted to share that I have successfully completed the Health Care Strategy course from Harvard Business School, online. This valuable course covered key topics in the industry: Value creation and Value capture, Industry analysis and Brand positioning, Competition, Regulations, Five forces, and Boundaries of the firm. What I really liked the most about this course were the experiences shared by professors, entrepreneurs, and managers when they faced friction points or needed to make decisions with multiple critical factors. It was a great opportunity to broaden my understanding of the healthcare industry and explore the perspectives of innovators aiming to create value for both their end users and their businesses, ultimately contributing to craft a sustainable and thriving healthcare system. These insights aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Healthcare Sector Transformation Program, which prioritize innovation, financial sustainability, and disease prevention while enhancing healthcare accessibility. Moreover, it concentrates on the expansion of e-health services and digital solutions, enhancing healthcare quality, and complying with international standards which can produce a distinguish value. It’s really an eye opening for the all aspects behind the decision makers and their justified moves and motivations. Understanding these strategies is paramount for effectively contributing to the advancement of healthcare initiatives in line with the vision's goals. I'm truly grateful for the invaluable knowledge and guidance provided by Harvard Business School online and Leemore Dafny throughout the course. Additionally, I'd like to extend my thanks to my peers in the course; their engagement and collaboration greatly enriched the learning experience.
