Professor Educational Leadership for Change at Antioch University specializing in Indigenous worldview and counter-hegemonic democracy education
Asa has happened before without consequence, the U.S. is once again guilty of war crimes. Now it relates to the participating in the bombing of Gaza, according to all the agencies in place internationally to judge and condemn them. With Kemela Harris prayerfully at the helm, many atrocities with footprints leading back to the US might be avoided. This includes preventing the policies of the Heritage Foundation's 2025 document. It means stopping Trump and his blind followers. If your hegemonic, fear-based hypnosis is preventing you from realizing the true histories and or from understanding why the Gaza genocide, if unmitigated, will ultimately guide human consciousness downward, please listen to real voices from people in Gaza on DemocracyNow.org. (Warning: The imagery today of doctors treating injured children on the floors of bombed out hospitals is especially hard to watch.) Please vote in 104 days and start telling others. Stop Trump,;stop what Chomsky says is the most dangerous organization in the world ( the right-wing GOP;) stop corporate power's control of both parties; stop racism, anti-Indianism, and anthropocentric destruction of all life forms. Use the dehypnotizing technology CAT-FAWN. https://lnkd.in/g4Y5mDR And remember that neutrality is always on the wrong side. Use the worldview chart at KindredMedia.org

Those in power in Israel are attempting to create a fundamentalist society that sanctifies death and is headed toward endless war. In response, many people in the Israeli public have been frozen by fear and despair. We, Standing Together, the largest Jewish-Arab grassroots movement in Israel, are choosing to fight for our future and for the lives of all of us here: Jews and Arabs, religious and secular, residents of the periphery and the center. We are choosing to build instead of destroy, to lead the camp of life instead of surrendering to the government of death. Therefore, we are acting on the ground against extreme right-wing activists, fighting to bring down the government, stop the war, and build communities of Jewish and Palestinian citizens across the country who are working together to create a new reality in this land. Support Standing Together now - because we all deserve a better future. https://lnkd.in/dThvQMj4

https://lnkd.in/eej9wwPa People are only coming to the UK due to the free benefits system, free housing, free education, free NHS. How many countries provide this free system?. The laws appear to provide easy access to a free system in the UK. If you contribute then you should be able to have the relevant support from the system after all we are the tax payer. Councils becoming bankrupt having handed out millions of pounds in grants to religious charities to support their own communities who do not contribute to society all they do is take and not give. How can these religious charities have millions of pounds in cash on their balance sheets where does the money come from and go?. How does this benefit other communities or society. Everyone knows why UK came out of Brexit due to these problems. Countries should support their own citizens first after we live here and face the challenges set by the policies set by government. Governments will come and go but the problems still remains the solution is stop providing free support they don't need it.

The bombing of Ukraine’s national children’s hospital in Kyiv this week – on the eve of the NATO summit – has served to highlight Russia’s apparent use of war crimes as a central tool of invasion. The big picture The member states meeting on the 75th anniversary of the alliance were again forced to confront the question, as IWPR Executive Director Anthony Borden puts it, of whether "they have the will and capacity to support Ukraine to win or are Russia’s resources and cruelty inexorable?” Voices from the Frontline 🗨️“Striking a children's hospital is not just a war crime, it is far beyond the limits of humanity,” Ohmatdyt director Volodymyr Zhovnire told an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council the following day. Chairing the meeting, Moscow’s UN Ambassador Vassily Nebanzia, bluntly denied Russian responsibility, asserting that a Ukrainian air defence missile was responsible. 🗨️“The chairman’s seat is soaked in blood,” responded his Ukrainian counterpart Sergiy Kyslytsya. “How many more Russian crimes will it take for the issue of the presence of the dictatorial Kremlin regime in the Soviet permanent seat to be addressed?” Why It Matters The devastation highlights Ukraine’s continued urgency for arms but also the continuing vigour of its civil society. Hundreds of civilians immediately gathered at Ohmatdyt to remove the rubble brick by brick as staff sought to treat the wounded and cancer patients alike. 🗨️“The bombing makes people blame Russia even more, and no one believes in any kind of peace processes,” Anna Nazaryk of the Kyiv-based Centre for Civil Liberties told IWPR. “They know what is at stake, it is the lives of Ukrainian people. From all this, we know what will happen if Russia comes.” The Bottom Line As demonstrated by the civilian response to the attack, Ukrainian society remains resilient. IWPR has worked with journalists and civil society groups in Ukraine since 2014, including providing flak jackets and security training as well as launching the Reckoning Project and supporting accountability and transparency; most recently, our Justice Report highlights national and international efforts to establish accountability for Russia’s war crimes. We will continue to do everything we can to continue our support for Ukraine. https://lnkd.in/eibVUhtr
