Dear jupitermoney, Nikhil Godbole, Jitendra Gupta and federalbank india I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and transparency shown by Jupiter Money and its banking partner, Federal Bank, regarding an unresolved UPI transaction. Details of the Issue: Transaction Date: 2nd January 2025 Transaction Amount: Rs. 21,760/- Transaction ID: 536848015510 Despite multiple follow-ups: Federal Bank claims the amount has been refunded, but there’s no credit in my account. Jupiter Money refuses to provide any written documentation about their refund policies and instead suggested I record calls for proof. I was even threatened not to contact Federal Bank regarding this issue, which is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. This lack of transparency and failure to adhere to standard refund timelines as per RBI mandates has caused unnecessary frustration. I urge Jupiter Money and Federal Bank to address this issue immediately and provide a clear timeline for resolution. Coffeezilla dives into the Yotta Bank debacle, that is still ongoing. Everyday consumers do not understand the intricacies of the new startups that are utilizing Banking-as-a-Service platforms. They simply trust what they see because they believe in the US banking system and trusts the stability of the system. Especially when episodes are still being sponsored. But every time something like this occurs it tarnishes that system and makes the entire industry look bad to the end user customers. More importantly, guardrails need to be erected to prevent this problem in the future.
