The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) is launching a training program to help African businesses benefit from the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Afreximbank's academy, along with the AfCFTA Secretariat and the American University in Cairo, will deliver the program in September in Cairo, Egypt. The training will focus on how businesses can take advantage of the AfCFTA's opportunities, which include a giant market of nearly 2 billion people and a combined GDP of $3.4 trillion. Afreximbank sees well-prepared businesses as key to boosting trade and investment within and outside Africa. This program is part of Afreximbank's efforts to achieve this goal and contribute to Africa's economic growth. The AfCFTA Secretariat also recognizes the importance of training for the AfCFTA's success. They believe it will encourage investment within Africa and reduce reliance on non-African markets, making Africa a more attractive investment destination overall. #afcfta #africa #news #newsupdate #global #business #businessupdates #africabusinessradio

CALL FOR REGISTRATION - EXECUTIVE COURSE: TRADE FACILITATION AND LOGISTICS We are excited to extend an invitation for registrations to the course outlined above, strategically designed to provide an in-depth analysis of the implementation aspects of trade facilitation measures. In this context, it zeroes in on the cross-dimensionality of trade facilitation measures at the implementation level. It further explores the consequence of trade facilitations with self-contained policies arising from sector-specific ministries and departments that are traditionally divorced from their perceived link with trade facilitation and trade-related policies. 📌Location: Arusha, Tanzania 📅 Date: 11th – 22nd March 2024 Learn more - https://cutt.ly/IwKaDoQY Invest in education, empower your future! #ESAMITrapca #TradeFacilitation #TradePolicy #Logistics #SupplyChain #CustomsClearence #CustomsOfficer #Business #Government #InternationalTrade #CapacityBuilding #CapacityDevelopment #Sustainability #Africa #World

Founding President & Chairman of the Board of Directors | Young Global Visionary Leader | Leading the African Council on Foreign Relations with the vision and passion to drive positive change in Africa and globally.
In this book, the SME sub-order remains the most important priority to tackle urgently. Millions of SMEs are disappearing every year, leaving the lion's share with global multinational corporations. This situation threatens the successful implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area which is becoming the house of multinational corporations. How to build an SME order that will compete with multinational corporations in Africa in terms of trade? What should the priorities be at the moment? How to find SMEs and organize them in powerful voices and groups in Africa? Does the microstate of our SMEs directly benefit multinational corporations? Yes, it does. We need an SME Order led by independent states and controlled by SME organizations, not by a supranational organization like the African Union and its regional economic communities. This book provides a clear path to achieve that.
