🥌Step into the realm of Datas, a convergence of innovation and intricacy, encapsulated in an electrifying 11-day Hackathon! D-Tales organising by Panimalar Group of Institutions in collaboration with IEEE MAS YP. 🛡️Below are the guidelines to ensure you make the most out of this exciting experience: 1.Challenge Start: The Hackathon challenge officially kicks off on every 48 Hours. 2.Early Start: The official challenge starts as soon as the challenges drops. Early starters often have the advantage of exploring more ideas and refining their concepts. 3.Embrace Complexity: Don't shy away from challenging problems. The more complex the issue, the more rewarding the solution. Let your creativity and technical skills shine! 4.Submission Limits: Each participant or team is allowed 2 Dashboards throughout the hackathon. Make each submission count by focusing on quality and innovation. 5.Multiple Entries: Teams are allowed to submit multiple entries, but each entry must be unique. 6.Complexity Curve: Brace yourselves for a complexity curve! Challenges will progressively become more intricate as the hackathon unfolds. 7.Publish and Submit: Participants are encouraged to publish their progress, findings, and insights on the D Tales platform through online 8.Submission Date: The final day for submissions is March 18, 2024. Ensure all your entries are submitted before the deadline to be considered for evaluation. 🔥 Day4/20 hashtag #20DaysinDSMLWithAA When I first signed up for the Africa Agility Foundation Girls in Tech program, I was terrified. The world of algorithms, models, and data analysis seemed like a distant, intimidating realm that I was completely unprepared to navigate. Doubts swirled in my mind: Would I be able to keep up? Would I understand the complex concepts? Would I crash and burn before even reaching the halfway mark? But as the program kicked off, I realized something profound: growth often lies beyond the edge of our comfort zones. With each passing day, I pushed myself to dive deeper into the data, wrestle with the code, and grapple with the concepts that once seemed impenetrable. Yes, there were times when I was confused and frustrated, and I even had to work through some late-night debugging sessions that tried my resolve. But every challenge I overcame made me stronger and more self-assured. To anyone out there who, like me, has ever felt daunted by the prospect of diving into the world of data science and machine learning, I urge you to take that first step. Sure, it could seem frightening at first, but the benefits are well worth the risk when you get to the other side. So, here's to embracing the unknown, pushing past our fears, and unlocking the endless possibilities that lie within the realm of data science. 🌟 Digital Skill Fair 29.0 🌟 I recently participated in the Digital Skill Fair 29.0 - Data Science organized by dibimbing.id, held online from July 15 - 22, 2024. During this event, I attended live classes about data science and gained a wealth of new knowledge. Besides the theoretical material, my hands-on experience also improved significantly. We were tasked with analyzing the provided Pokemon dataset. My analysis revealed that whether a Pokemon is classified as legendary or not depends on its health points, attack, defense, special attack, special defense, and speed values. The higher these values, the more likely the Pokemon is to be considered legendary. The ISEA (Innovation Science for Education Analytics) program's Hackweek is here. Calling all educational research organizations, educational agencies, or EdTech companies to offer real-world challenges and questions to our amazing fellows. Why should you be part of the Summer Hackweek projects? The Hackweek brings together ISEA fellows and faculty members to use data analytics, software design and development, and research skills to tackle real-world educational issues. Within one week and working full-time as teams, fellows will complete or make significant progress on the sponsors’ projects under the sponsors’ guidance and the faculty’s support. For projects that cannot be completed within the Hackweek time, they will continue to work on them after the Hackweek. Products and findings will be presented at the Fall Virtual conference. Their participation in sponsors’ project will be free of charge to sponsors, unless that the propsoed scope of the work exceeds significantly beyond the original Hackweek’s design and needs substantial more time and efforts from the fellows.
