Today, Senegal has officially signed the Agreement to host the Africa Food System’s Forum 2025 in Dakar. During a high-level delegation visit to Senegal’s Minister of Agriculture by AGRA Chairperson, the Incoming AGRA President and the AFSF Managing Director, a shared vision for food security, sustainability, and agricultural transformation was cemented. Dr. Mabouba Diagne, Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Livestock for Senegal noted that they: “are looking forward to working together with AFS to boost mobilization for their legacy program, boost food sovereignty and increasing jobs for the youth in their country”. With this step, the journey to #AFSF2025 begins. Together, let’s ensure that African-led solutions for the continent’s food systems take center stage.
