I'm a little overdue with this one, but hey, it's been a busy time! Since I'm no longer with EA, it means I'm allowed to give my professional opinion of an EA game without worrying about conflict of interest. :) I'm really glad I got to play #TalesOfKenzeraZau, and I'm pleased to share my review for your 6-minute reading pleasure. (I'm not paid for this, and neither is anybody on @SmashPad, but we'd still appreciate your click!) Some quick hits! - The game took me about 7 hours to 100%. - The story is AMAZING, so if you don't like the metroidvania genre, you can tone the difficulty down to Easy and it'll be a breeze! - EA didn't give me a review copy, but you can actually download and play the game the game for free if you have a PS+ Extra account (if you're on PS5)! - At that, yes, it's very much worth the $20. --- Like my content? Banishers Ghosts of New Eden is a game that is easy to like a little but hard to like a lot. It ticks all of the optional boxes with a nice story, great visuals, and even better voice acting, but ultimately it fails to impress where it matters. Back in 2020, I had an idea to create a fighting game that would highlight up-and-coming artists, the way Def Jam Vendetta did for signed artists. Over the past 4 years, I've run into roadblocks, put the project on pause, opened it back up randomly, modified it millions of times, etc. I've seen a few other people looking to recreate that Def Jam Vendetta feel, over the years. I'd definitely be up for working together to make something new and just as enjoyable. Here is the first proof of concept for "UNDERGROUND RISING", part of the B.L.U. Print Universe. In the last few months after the release of Assassin's Creed Mirage, there has been a trend in YouTube shorts where people use the new execution system shown in the game with the One Republic song called Mirage, so I decided to create a similar system with some additional touches of my own and release this system to Epic Games Marketplace.
