United, Delta Airlines, and British Airways cancel all flights to Israel, citing fear of wider conflict. Major American and British airlines have told passengers that flights to Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) are canceled, amid spiraling tensions with Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Delta is said to have canceled its flights until August 2, as is British Airways. Sources said, United Airlines has canceled its flights until August 6. Egypt's Red Sea Airlines, a leisure-focused, privately-owned scheduled and charter carrier with a fleet of two dry-leased B737-800s, plans to expand to five of the type by mid-2025 and potentially to eight by 2027, according to Technical Director Khaled Saif. Plans also exist to introduce B737-8s by 2026 or 2027, but this will depend on the type's availability and its performance with EGYPTAIR, which is to start taking delivery of 18 by the end of 2025.
