“Gender equality remains the greatest human rights challenge. Investing in women is a human rights imperative and cornerstone for building inclusive societies. Progress for women benefits us all” (UNWomen.org)
At AG Comms we prioritise Gender Equality by supporting women and girls within our business, across our supply chain, with our customers and through the non-profit purpose partnerships we have.
Since we started tracking our impact, we have directly supported 283 women and girls. Here's the breakdown:
2022 = 129
2023 = 154 ⬆19%
2024 our target is 169 ⬆ 10%
We will do this through donating 1% profit to social and environmental causes, continuing with our community support, increasing stakeholder education and awareness and offering more voluntary and pro-bono opportunities.
Join us on our journey to better business. This month we’re showing what it means to be a B Corp by sharing all of the ways we are moving, changing and growing our impact to create a better future for all.

Tracking this number is incredibly important to us to see how we are helping women and girls most. There is always more to do. 78% of our suppliers are from women owned/led businesses too. This not only supports those women leaders, but their team members, families, local communities and the UN SDGs that they are supporting too. Lets keep making ripples 🌊
It's great to see our impact growing year on year. Mentoring and supporting women and girls through our AG purpose partnerships has been incredible and I love catching up with my previous mentees to learn about all the amazing opportunities they are embracing! 😍
The focus of equality and inclusion is an imperative for Frontgrade. It is of personal importance to me as a father of two girls that will enter the workforce in the next decade. #equalityforall#internationalwomensday2024
This International Women’s Day, Frontgrade is reaffirming our commitment to true gender equality and to fostering inclusion and a sense of belonging for all, throughout our company. The inclusion of women in all aspects of our global society is a non-negotiable, and Frontgrade is pleased to recognize IWD 2024 with a donation to the Society of Women Engineers in honor of the inspiring women pursuing STEM-related careers.

International Women's Day is about investing in and including women. When we invest in women, we create a better world. A woman multiplies the impact of an investment made in her by extending benefits to the world around her, creating a better life for her family and building stronger communities. It is reassuring to see that more and more women are financially empowered, independent and included, but there is still work to be done to close the gaps that exist today. That's why I'm proud that with the help of the RBC Foundation, our Leaside branch supported 'Women In Need of Klinik (WINK)' with a donations & Support.
Help forge an inclusive world by investing in women and accelerating the progress. After all, gender equality is one of the most effective ways to build healthier, more prosperous, and more inclusive communities. #IWD2024#InternationalWomensDay
Thrilled to share this powerful message from Liam on a topic that's close to my heart. Today, as we celebrate the strides we've made towards gender equality, it's crucial to remember that true equality is inclusive and unconditional. 🌈
Liam's words resonate deeply with me: "True equality doesn't come with asterisks or exceptions; it's all-encompassing and inclusive." This statement is a stark reminder that our fight for gender parity must include all women - cisgender, transgender, and those of diverse gender expressions, as well as our non-binary and gender non-conforming friends who also face significant challenges in the quest for equality. Trans women are women, period, and the journey towards gender equality involves recognizing and supporting the rights and identities of all individuals across the gender spectrum.
As we advocate for women's rights, support women-centric initiatives, and celebrate the achievements of women and gender-diverse individuals around the globe, let's ensure our efforts are genuinely inclusive. Let's stand together, united in our diversity, to push for a world where everyone is recognized, respected, and celebrated for who they are.
Equality is not a selective principle. It's a universal right that should be afforded to everyone, without exception. Let's embrace this wholeheartedly and work towards a future where gender parity is not just an ideal, but a reality for all, including those who do not fit within the traditional gender binary.

I see posts from a lot of women today, many stating things like, "Today is a day to...
- Promote women's equality.
- Honor women's perseverance and applaud their progress.
- Support women-centric and women-owned charities.
- Advocate for gender parity.
...but if you don't feel that transgender women should be included because "they're not real women," you don't believe in equality.
You believe in exclusion and conditional acceptance.
You're basically saying equality is only valid when it fits within a narrow, outdated framework.
True equality doesn't come with asterisks or exceptions; it's all-encompassing and inclusive.
If we're truly about lifting women up, celebrating their achievements, and pushing for genuine gender parity, then we need to include all women in the conversation.
Trans women are women, full stop.
Let's not cherry-pick our way through equality; let's embrace it in its entirety.

I want to express my gratitude for being quoted on the below post. I believe the recognition of women helps supports the growth of the society and promotion of skills and talents that should not have barriers based on genders, race or belief.
By supporting and recognizing the talent of a person we are investing in the future of our communities, societies, families and we are are allowing more opportunities for everyone, a much diverse workforce.
I do recognize the unique role of each gender; but I do believe career opportunities should not be limited to those roles, and opportunities should not granted based only on gender but rather on talents and skills.
When I started my journey in supporting women in aviation along with my dearest friend Ivana Alvares-Marshall who had done so much for Women in aviation ; we started our campaigns while living in a different environment in the industry , our names were crossed from many companies just because our gender and nationalities, we had to worked hard to prove our talents.
Today, I celebrate when a person is able to be successful based on their knowledge, skills and experience and the gender is not longer a factor of qualification or disqualification.
We all play a crucial part on this progress, and now that we are already on the other side of the road and women have achieved their goals and aspirations, it is now time to also recognize diversity in terms of faith and race and achieve tolerance and respect for everyone’s differences, backgrounds and beliefs and respect that unique part of the person’s identity and individuality.
It is ok to disagree; we all not have to agree and think the same way; we can achieve piece and respect if we learn to appreciate diversity in the entire extension of the word. #diversity#peace#live#womeninaviation

Today is International Women’s Day, a day to celebrate the achievements of women across the world and raise awareness about the challenges they face.
Currently, women are still suffering from inequality in many areas including the workplace. Women continue to be underrepresented in high-level management roles and many aren't given access to equal pay.
In the construction industry alone, women suffer from the same issues. With fewer than 12% of women in the industry working in a leadership position.
It's on days like International Women's Day and beyond, that we need to collectively support the drive for gender equality.
Progress for women, means progress for all.

On #IWD, it is a time to celebrate the major and minor wins towards women's gender equality internationally and how far we've come.
In 2024, however, we still have major gender inequity on a global scale. In fact, not one country has achieved true gender equality as yet.
The high rates of domestic violence, human trafficking, poverty, and homelessness for women (to name a few) are in dire need of action and change. Dire need. We are making an impact. But we have a long way to go.
This is a day to stand up, be heard, and be seen. To recognise the positive changes throughout the past and to remind us to pursue equity in the future with the same vigour.
The origins of #IWD hark back to 1909 as a political, socialist movement to march for women's rights.
