🌱 Financing the Future of Regenerative Agriculture 🌱 One of the greatest barriers preventing farms from transitioning to even more climate smart agriculture is access to capital. Traditional lending models often fail to address the unique challenges farmers face, slowing the progress needed to secure the sustainability of our agricultural systems. At the Regenerative Agriculture Summit North America (March 25-27, Chicago), I’ll be speaking on a panel discussing innovative funding solutions that drive adoption and investment in regenerative practices. I’m excited to join Daniel McQuillan (WWF), Sarah Day Levesque (Regenerative Food Systems Investment), and other industry leaders to explore how we can better support farmers during this transition. Looking forward to connecting with those who share a passion for building resilient, regenerative food systems! 🌾 Canadian Alliance for Net Zero Agri-Food (CANZA)

🤝 In partnership with financial institutions globally, we have developed innovative financing programs to support farmers in their transition to #RegenerativeAgriculture. 💛 We’re proud to share that to date, we have eight partnerships with top tier banks in eight countries. Financial partnerships are one of the ways we’re supporting our farming partners. We also operate the #McCainFarmsOfTheFuture and regional Innovation Hubs to drive and scale regenerative practices across geographies. 🥔 These programs mark a significant step towards our ambitious goal of implementing regenerative agriculture practices on 100% of our potato acreage by 2030, reflecting our mission to reimagine how we grow a potato. ➡️ Learn more about our financial partnerships: https://lnkd.in/dKJG9yU #WeAreMcCain

🔦 Spotlighting the B Keeper of the Month #5 The B Keeper is the main contact person between a B Corp and B Lab. This month's B Keeper is Mellany Klompe-Vonk from Klompe Landbouw (B Corp) How Impact is Made: "50% of the world’s habitable land is used for agriculture. If we transform the way we farm, we can positively impact climate change and stability on biodiversity, and food health and supply, on a massive scale. Regenerative farming turns agriculture into a global solution, for farmers, people and our planet." Challenge Ahead: "We would like to grow a bigger variety of crops on our farm. The problem is finding a market for this to sell for a fair price to make it economically viable." Calling on Others: "It would be great if more farms follow us because that would mean that the transition towards regenerative farming is growing and that in the end is our goal. We want to empower farmers to start the transition towards regenerative farming." 👉 Find more information on Klompe here: https://lnkd.in/eU_HmWcc Thank you Mellany, for your dedication and inspiring work! Stay tuned for monthly B Keeper stories celebrating impactful leaders. #BKeeperOfTheMonth #BCorp #Impact #Sustainability #Leadership

🌱 Hello, everyone!!! 🚀 See what inspired me to post on LinkedIn after such a long time... This is my first post after almost seven months. Meet Ganesh, a forward-thinking farmer passionate about efficiency and safety on the farm. 👨🌾💡 Ganesh recently devised a brilliantly simple solution to tackle a common problem: doors staying open due to oversight, posing a risk to crops. 🌿🍀 His innovation? A clever mechanism that automatically closes doors after they are opened, ensuring that no door is left open inadvertently. 🚪⏰ By combining ingenuity with practicality, Ganesh has not only enhanced the safety and security of his crops but also inspired others in the agricultural community to think creatively about problem-solving. 🌾🔧 Here's to celebrating innovation in the most unexpected places! 🎉 Let's continue to learn from each other and drive progress forward. 💪 #creativity #FarmInnovation #cropprotection #SafetyFirst #ProblemSolving #Inspiration
