Field Service Representatives (FSRs) are not just team members; they are community changemakers. Through the African Poultry Multiplication Initiative (APMI), FSRs bring innovation and opportunity to rural farmers by providing hands-on training, fostering sustainable practices, and creating pathways for economic growth.   A key part of their role is building trust and strong relationships within communities. 🧑🌾 I once asked a producer, “Do you realise how important your work is? You help feed thousands of people every day. It’s actually quite incredible.” They laughed it off, but they came back later with, “Thank you, I’d never thought about it that way before.” That moment stuck with me. In hospitality, I learned how food connects us, making people feel seen, heard and known. At RAW, I’ve learned how vital it is to understand the stories and challenges of the people creating what we consume. To help them also feel seen, heard, known… and valued. Without our producers thriving, I believe society losses so much more than just food, drink and clothing—we lose connection. Over the past 4+ years I’ve seen how fragile our agricultural systems are and how great the cost is. The impact isn’t isolated to behind the farm gate, it extends throughout our communities, impacting both local and afar. If we don’t innovate and build people- centred agricultural systems, the future of Tasmania will look very different. No apples for lunchboxes, woollen blankets for winter or good red wine for Christmas. Four years ago, RAW was little known. Today, its impact is undeniable. I’m deeply grateful for the role I’ve been able to play in advocating, amplifying and growing its story. With that in mind, it’s bittersweet to share that my time at RAW is coming to an end. 2025 sees an end to one era and transition to the next: building climate-resilient agricultural communities with TAS Farm Innovation Hub 🌾

Black farmers have long faced systemic discrimination by public and private institutions and barriers to economic mobility. Inequities in the administration of government farm programs and discrimination by the U.S. Department of Agriculture have had a devastating impact on rural communities of color. Today, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates there are roughly 40,000 Black farmers in America, owning less than one percent of our nation’s farmland as compared to roughly 95 percent of farmland owned by their white counterparts. Land dispossession and the unequal treatment of Black farmers have only widened the racial wealth gap and stymied intergenerational and community wealth building. Farmers are the foundation of our culture and country. Let's Go!!

🌟 The Journey Behind Conagri: Bridging Gaps in Agriculture and Construction 🚜 After 18 years of experience in the Ag and construction machinery sales sector, my passion for agriculture and my background in the industry led me to a pivotal moment in my career. Latterly and when living in the post covid and brexit era, I observed a growing demand from various brands looking to trade in the UK. However, the complexities brought on by Brexit left many hesitant to commit to establishing offices, recruiting teams, or investing time in building a solid UK base. This gap presented a unique opportunity, and thus, Conagri was born. Our mission was clear: to become the UK base, complete with a dedicated team, office, sales line, and storage facilities for brands eager to enter the market. From these humble beginnings, we quickly expanded our reach nationally, then across Europe, and now internationally.
