🎤 What's the secret formula for success in the speaking world? 🌟 I'm thrilled to share a bit of insight behind the scenes. While we don't often talk about our big wins, I believe it's important to highlight how our speakers achieve such success. They say luck is when opportunity meets preparation, and that couldn’t be truer in our industry. When opportunities come our way, we evaluate them not just for the world-class presentation and topic maturity that aligns with the client’s brief but also for robust, proven lead-gathering models that maximise these chances. So maybe, the formula for luck in the speaking world is: A world-class presentation + topic maturity x a winning lead gathering model = SUCCESS 📈 What do you think? Drop your thoughts below! 🤔

QBR Run Through: Where are my sales and marketing leaders at? 🙋 This is for you! Here's the context: * Started at RP as a RevOps strategist * Moved into Director of Sales a year ago * And now also leading the creative and marketing teams From the very first quarter, I did a QBR for the team. Why? Because: * It was essential for me to understand current state ✅ * I needed to motivate and align the team on what we needed to focus on to reach quota 🎯 * That's the RP Way! We eat our own dog food. Our QBR process has evolved (shoutout to 🧠 Hagen Fulford) and now the insights we are able to draw from the #HubSpot data gives us a much clearer picture! Matt Fehrmann Vinny Kennedy Pat Hopkins Frank Devine Brendan Tolleson what was your favorite insight from our last QBR?

VP of Brand and Content Marketing - Team Lead and Strategist. I help brands tell meaningful stories that elicit and instill memories in their customers, sometimes using burgeoning tech.
𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐓𝐨-𝐃𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐚 𝐓𝐀-𝐃𝐀!! 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭 Beginning in January of this year, I started a new form of celebrating the small wins of my team. Each week I author a (DONE) list — chronicling our accomplishments. It’s a TA-DA!! — ‘this is what we delivered to help drive the business’ list, versus a ‘this is what we’re planning’ list. Here are 4 reasons I think you should start making (TA-DA!!) lists immediately: 1. For execs — this list is a great way to manage-up, showing the impact you’ve had, and giving your boss a few cogent bullets to share when given the opportunity. I have a terrific boss who’s always looking to help me shine so it’s great ammo for me to give her. But even if you’re in the opposite situation, this list is great for, ya know, for defense purposes. 2. For mid-year and end-year reviews — Most people, including me, dread and often struggle to recall what we’ve done over a 6 month or annual period. These lists are a terrific chronicle to look back upon. 3. For our internal stakeholders / clients — my group functions in part as an internal creative agency of sorts.. taking on projects when our business unit marketing teams need extra hands. These TA DA lists allow me a forum to recount the feedback we get via the NPS surveys I send out after engagements. You can also quickly pull out a bullet point or two about a relevant past success story when asked to help with something similar in the present. 4. For us — and finally, these DONE lists allow me to celebrate my teams’ work each week, and the lists also help remind us what we’ve learned and how we can get better too! So, I prefer 𝐓𝐀 𝐃𝐀! to TO DO. Do you make these lists? Might you start now after reading this? Let me know in the comments. More on [no to-do lists] via a previous post of mine, if you’re interested. https://lnkd.in/d7djVbC6
