It hasn’t been an easy decision, but it is imperative that we deliver a safe and successful cutover to the new digital processing services. In my updates, I have shared the obstacles that have arisen as we move towards customer testing of our new digital processing services. This included the significant Priority 1 (P1) technical issue that we found in system integration and user acceptance testing. Unfortunately, this has meant we have not been able to start mass testing with the market. The upside is that we found the error before going to mass market testing, but the downside is that it took a fair amount of time to fix and we are now eight weeks behind where we wanted to be and cutover in October 2024 is no longer tenable. In the coming days and weeks, we will: ◾ Continue to progress our work on progressing the platform towards mass market testing. ◾ Keep you updated through our communications with you on the #BlueprintTwo programme. ◾ Finalise a re-plan with colleagues at Velonetic, Lloyd's, DXC Technology and market associations. This will centre on being ready for a safe cutover with activities completed so that we can provide assurance and complete the necessary governance. This will include ensuring that the build of the platform is completed, tested, assured by third parties, and that all market participants in the London insurance market have the assurance and confidence you need to complete your processes. The plan will also take into account other events in the market calendar, e.g. peak times for renewals. As I write this, I am focused on the people Velonetic, Lloyd's, DXC Technology and across the whole London insurance market who have been, and continue, to work extremely hard to deliver this complex programme. I know a delay can be frustrating and disappointing, but this hasn’t been an easy decision, however it’s the right one. We need to focus on the fact that we are making progress just not as quick as we would like. My request is we all continue to keep looking towards the ultimate goal, and our efforts keep focussed on maintaining the momentum we have in testing. We will have opportunities to come together over the coming week, and I hope that you will raise any questions that you have.
