Reinsurance brokers see an improvement in Florida insurance pricing, and greater availability. Legislative changes in late 2022, and changes to the funding of the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund have eased pressure on the market. This should result in more consumer choices, at potentially lower rates that previous years on your next renewal #williamlyonsrealtor #homeinsurance #floridainsurance #thekeyescompany #forbesglobalrealty

While insurance industry losses from Hurricane Beryl are expected to be manageable for the re/insurance sector, it was the storm’s characteristics which have raised concerns about the rest of the Atlantic hurricane season. Steve Bowen, Chief Science Officer at Gallagher Re just published a report, highlighting hurricanes, and the increased frequency and severity of heatwaves, which (of course) is a factor in wildfires. #reinsurance #wildfire #heatwave #propertyinsurance #natcat Reinsurance News
