📢New article alert from the Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research:   A clinical systematic literature review of treatments among patients with advanced and/or metastatic human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 positive breast cancer   This systematic review summarizes the efficacy of treatments for advanced/metastatic HER2+ breast cancer, including eribulin-based and anti-HER2 treatments. The review includes 38 studies, showing that available treatments provide a wide range of efficacy. Answer: Classic ILC is the most common subtype of lobular breast cancer, but there are other subtypes of ILC such as Pleomorphic ILC (less than 5% of ILC), which often has an increased proliferation index (Ki67) and higher grade, meaning that the cancer grows more quickly and aggressively than Classic ILC..." The incidence of metastatic colorectal cancer in young patients is rising. The Australian national screening program starts at the age 50. We have just published our study on early onset mCRC in Australia suggesting reduction in the screening age for colorectal cancer, as is being pursued in some jurisdictions, is an appropriate response to current trends.
