Continuing with our earlier post about the role leadership plays with DEI initiatives , one of the problems that we see in many organizations is that leadership teams lack diversity and an inclusive mindset.  They are so focused on checkboxes ✅, action items, and “to-dos” that they fail to see that this work invites us to deeper ways of being & connecting with ourselves and each other.  This shortfall results in a disconnect ✋🏾between leadership and the diverse workforce they serve, ultimately hindering effective understanding and management of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) challenges and creating a roadblock to the deep systemic change that today’s employees are calling for.
