As we are pushing a new AgiliCity | Modelur Beta toward public availability, new enhancements are being added. One of the finest examples is teaming-up with LightUp, a super useful real-time rendering engine for SketchUp that can produce almost instant sunlight simulation on large scale urban projects. No more waiting, no more guesswork. Click, run, done. On your computer, not in cloud. Note this video has note been edited, the simulation shown is captured in real-time, as it is being calculated. The laptop used doesn't even have a dedicated graphics card (runs on Intel Iris Xe). We've added a small UI to streamline the calculation on relevant dates (solstices, equinox), pinpoint underlit/problematic areas using gradient threshold, and specify desired accuracy (sampling) and visualization. We have a new rendering favorite in Rhino! and it's FREE! We tested AMD ProRender in Rhino 8, using standard Rhino PBR materials. And the result is awesome! There were some stability issues. However, our workaround seemed to be working just fine as we don't experience any crashes again. AMD ProRender rendering result has just win our heart and it's free. Yes, it's free to download through Rhino's package manager and use. Another bonus is, it's fast. See the rendering time in the viewport to know how fast it was to have the result, in seconds. We may say, architects and interior designers would love it over Cycles. KDE Plasma 6.1 Released: "The KDE community announced the latest release of their popular desktop environment: Plasma 6.1," writes longtime Slashdot reader jrepin. Creo Render Studio compiles elements such as model appearances, scenes, and lighting to create a rendered image. A rendered image shows how an environment reflects onto a surface, revealing design flaws or confirming design objectives. From the rendered image, you can also see how a modeled object would look in a real-world setting, with realistic lighting, shadowing, and surroundings. Creo Render Studio is powered by the Luxion KeyShot rendering engine. You can save your model with its defined scene and appearances as BIP file that can be opened in a standalone KeyShot application.
