My late summer Autumn dates are up for my Certified Scrum Master course. Check my website for dates (link under my profile picture above...) This is a two-day online interactive course, a prerequisite for you to be able you to take the Certified Scrum Master certification. It includes the registration for the exam and membership to the Scrum Alliance. And is a great first step in your journey as an agilist. Start time: 9 am GMT. Venue: Online, using Zoom and Miro (no previous experience necessary) Preparation: None! Why should I go on this course? Because you want to learn about Scrum! Maybe it’s because you are about to work in a Scrum team or even become a Scrum master yourself. Or it could be that you are open to work and want to improve your chances with Agile friendly companies by obtaining the CSM certification. The CSM can put you on the path to further advanced qualifications, making you a more rounded Agile thinker. What’s the course content? Don’t worry, you’re not going to get talked at for 2 days! This is an interactive course, i.e., you will be participating in games, discussions and simulations to learn Scrum. Which means, dare I say it, you might even have fun doing it. Celebrating a Milestone in Agile Mastery! 🎉 I am thrilled to share that I have earned the prestigious Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. This accomplishment stands as a testament to my dedication to mastering the principles and practices of Scrum and Agile methodologies. he enriching journey, expertly guided by the esteemed Brad Swanson, a big shoutout to him and his team Agility 11 for engaging classes ,it was a deep dive into the world of Agile, Lean, and Scrum. It illuminated the Agile Manifesto’s 4 Values and 12 Principles, which are the bedrock of effective Agile practices. I explored the push/pull method, the art of facilitation, and the golden rules of coaching. I delved into the heart of Scrum values and retrospectives, and learned about defined versus empirical processes. I discovered the power of Incremental & Iterative Development and the importance of accurate forecasting. This journey has equipped me with the skills to cultivate a collaborative environment, deliver high-value products, and drive team performance through effective Scrum implementation. I am excited to bring this wealth of knowledge to my future endeavours. I am eager to apply the Agile Values & Principles and the wisdom of the Agile Manifesto to create high-performing teams and deliver exceptional value.
