Excited to announce my latest achievement: Professional Scrum Master I certification! 🎉 Having worked in an agile environment, first as a software developer and then as a product owner, I wanted to go deeper into the intricacies of agile and scrum. Hence, I decided to acquire the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum. org. Some key takeaways from this training were: 🔍 A Deep Understanding of Scrum: This training provided me with a thorough understanding of Scrum, its roles, artifacts, events, and values. 💡 Scrum Theory: Scrum theory combines 2 concepts- empiricism and lean thinking. Empiricism focuses on “learning from experience”, stating that as you progress through your project, you must learn from it and improve your processes. Lean thinking states that you must focus on the essentials and reduce wasted effort. 🏛️ Scrum Pillars: Scrum promotes Transparency, which makes Inspection effective, to allow for Adaptability in a dynamic environment. 🎯 Focus on Value: Scrum provides a framework to solve complex problems in a complex environment, and it is positioned to do so by having a laser focus on value generation, which is seen in workflows like user story prioritization. The process of getting this certification taught me valuable lessons, and I am eager to apply this knowledge in my future projects! #PSM #ScrumMaster #Agile #ProductOwner #ProfessionalScrumMaster
