1st: Acknowledge and recognize that you're in a bad spot. It's okay to feel these feelings sometimes, what is important is that you don't get stuck in them.
2nd: Write out everything you currently want in your life. Whether it's a successful business, a better mindset - whatever it is.
3rd: Reverse engineer the smallest goal on that..
EX. If it's to get in shape....
How many days do you need to go to the gym?
What kind of workouts should you do?
How many calories should you eat?
BE SPECIFIC
4: Write down the thing you need to do each day to accomplish that goal in a calendar, and check off each day you do it.
All you have to do it one day. Take one step at a time and eventually your life starts looking. better without you realizing it... because that fitness goal turned into motivation to work harder, to meet new people, to scale your business.
It only takes one step at a time. Are you choosing to stay stuck in a bad mindset?

Success isn’t just about big wins; it’s built on the small, consistent habits you practice every day. 🌱
Here are 5 daily habits that have transformed my life and business, and can do the same for you:
1️⃣ Morning Mindset Ritual: Start your day with intention. Whether it’s meditation, journaling, or affirmations, setting a positive tone in the morning primes your mind for success.
2️⃣ Prioritize Your Tasks: Use the 80/20 rule—focus on the 20% of tasks that will create 80% of the impact in your business. This ensures you’re always moving the needle forward.
3️⃣ Commit to Continuous Learning: Dedicate at least 30 minutes a day to learning something new, whether it’s reading a book, listening to a podcast, or taking an online course. Growth is the fuel for success.
4️⃣ Create a Habit of Gratitude: End your day by reflecting on what you’re grateful for. Gratitude shifts your focus to the positive, attracting more of what you want into your life.
5️⃣ Practice Self-Care: Taking care of yourself is the foundation of everything you desire. If your physical or mental health is low, you will struggle in all other areas. Exercise, eat well, and get enough sleep to keep your energy levels high and your mind sharp.
Incorporating these habits into your daily routine might seem small, but their impact is profound. They truly are the building blocks of success and have been an integral part of helping me thrive in both my personal and business life.

How to shift YOUR mindset.....
The physical shift isn't as obvious in this client journey, but the mental shift was massive;
Richard Lester was stuck in the same annual loop.
Train hard all spring ready for races in the summer, but then through the autumn and winter, all those good habits went out the window.
→ Getting outdoors was less fun
→ Less exercise meant less motivated to eat right
→ Before he knew it, all the gains he made last summer were lost
Rich was well aware of the issue & that it was all in his head, but he wasn't quite sure how to fix it.
We worked together to build a plan & the results speak for themselves - here's Richards' words on the winter just gone;
"Transformational experience and total mindset change - not only 5kg dropped in 9 months but my diet is now unrecognisable - Matt's motivational direction and subtle instructions helped me cut out so much processed food & reinvigorate myself "
It's not like Rich was massively out of shape to start with every spring, but he always started 5 steps back every year.
Not any more.
We worked together on Mindset & you can too.
✅ It starts with working out WHY
✅ It started for Rich with working with a coach

Anupam, the path of least resistance is a gentle descent into stagnation. Growth, by its very nature, demands discomfort – a willingness to embrace the unfamiliar, to court uncertainty, and to brave the unknown. For it is in those moments of vulnerability, when we stand at the precipice of our comfort zone, that we discover the true depths of our potential.
Each time we choose to lean into the disquiet, to confront our fears and doubts head-on, we chip away at the shell of our limitations. With each courageous step, we expand the boundaries of our existence, widening the horizons of our possibilities. It is a journey of constant reinvention, a perpetual shedding of old skins to make room for the emergence of our truest, most authentic selves.
In the end, the greatest comfort lies not in the complacency of routine, but in the knowledge that we have dared greatly, that we have stretched the limits of our being, and that we have lived lives truly worth remembering – lives defined not by the safety of our comfort zones, but by the grandeur of our aspirations and the audacity of our endeavors.

“A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there”
5 (realistic) ways to get out of your comfort zone consistently:
1. 🧱 Build something in public
- Start a podcast
- Start a YouTube channel
- Start tweeting once per day
Exposing yourself to daily public scrutiny will completely change your life if you stick with it (trust me).
———
2. 🏋️♀️ Adopt a “go one more” mindset (h/t Nick Bare)
When you feel close to your limit, challenge yourself to go one more.
At the gym—go one more rep (carefully)
Reading a book—go one more page
Meditating—go one more minute
One is perfect because it's enough to push you slightly out of your comfort zone without overwhelming you.
———
3. 👥 Spend more time with people who do it
Studies show that sitting next to a high-performer at work can boost your performance 15%. You can apply this same principle to your growth.
Trying to get out of your comfort zone more?
Surround yourself with people who do.
———
4. 🧠 Reframe your stress response
Research says: anxiety and excitement both create the same "stress response." The difference is just how we frame it.
Simply thinking "I'm excited" in a stressful situation can be enough to change your perception of an event from terrifying to exhilarating.
———
5. 📵 Break out of old routines
- Try taking a new route home from work
- Eat without using looking at your phone
- Try a new workout program
- Cook something you've never made before
Sometimes the easiest way to get out of your comfort zone is to simply snap out of an old habit.

Overthinking isn’t the same as healthy problem-solving.
Problem-solving consists of thinking about a difficult situation when necessary.
Overthinking, on the other hand, involves dwelling on the problem.
Overthinking is also different from self-reflection.
Self-reflection can be healthy as it involves learning and gaining perspective about yourself in regard to the situation at hand. It is also purposeful.
Overthinking, however, is thinking about everything you don’t have control over, and then dwelling on how bad you feel about it.
It does not help develop any insight into the situation.
If any amount of time is spent actually learning from previous behavior and coming up with creative solutions, then it is productive.
But time spent overthinking won’t enhance your life at all, regardless of whether it's 10 minutes or 10 hours.
Before you can change your thinking habits,
you have to become aware of when you’re overthinking.
It’s easy for anyone to get caught up in overthinking.
Fortunately, there are several mental strength exercises you can do to change the channel in your brain from overthinking into a more healthy mindset.
With just a little effort, you can adjust your thinking and take steps to replace overthinking with more productive self-reflection and problem-solving.
When you do this, you will reclaim your brainpower, energy & time and become more confident.
