Meet our CTO and our Head of Procurement at Intersolar next week.   In 2023, global PV demand reached 230 GWp, a 30% increase from the previous year. While China alone had share of ~45% of the global market. Europe saw significant growth, with installations reaching 40 GWp. Last year, the solar market benefited from a backlog of orders from 2022, when demand surged due to the energy crisis. The labour shortage that previously limited solar deployment is expected to ease from later this year as installers expand their workforce and new players enter the market.   AMPYR Solar Europe is on the path to becoming a leading European IPP, part of Europe’s commitment to becoming carbon neutral by 2050. These ambitions face potential supply resilience risk, considering the heavy dependency on imports for key components such as PV modules, inverters and battery cells.    At AMPYR Solar Europe, our Global Supply Chain Team is charting a path through strategic partnerships with preferred suppliers, EPC companies and OEMs.   We would love to meet not only suppliers, contractors and engineers involved in the solar industry, but also developers and lenders. If you are involved in any of these areas, please connect with us to discuss the potential for developing strategic partnership opportunities in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. Please connect directly on LinkedIn with our CTO, Jörn Hackbarth and our Head of Procurement, Vikas Varshney #intersolar #photovoltaic #EPC
