Meet the Team 🙍♀️
This week we interviewed an important member of the team who works hard in the background!
Kayleigh Bishop
What’s your role in the company?
Operations Manager
How did it all start?
Following completion of a BA(Hons) degree in Animal Welfare and Behaviour at the Berkshire College of Agriculture, I started my professional career in sales and advertising. At that time, I had a small holding with various horses and other animals of my own and the reality of working with animals, whilst having your own, brought many logistical and financial challenges. Therefore, I made the decision to find work that would help me fund and live out my passion!
My sales career was a successful one, even winning a few awards, but as time went by, I soon realised that pure sales just wasn’t the right fit for me. I was more focused on people and planning, so I stepped away from sales and dived into the world of business operations!
Over the next 12 years, I worked for both SME and corporate organisations in various industries, overseeing everything from the global shipments of thoroughbred racehorses, implementing company processes and policies to managing teams of 30+ members of staff. I haven’t looked back!
I am now incredibly lucky to have my own consultancy practice specialising in Operations and HR solutions and work with incredible people like John Parr (MSc, CQSW,CMT) and his team.
What do you love about being part of the EAI team?
The respect, trust and ambition the people within the company have for each other and the business.
What are you most passionate about when it comes to your work?
Improvement. I thrive on improving business activity and seeing the positive impact it has on my clients both personally and professionally.
What’s your favourite food?
Tough one – bit of a foodie! South American and Italian cuisine are my absolute favourites I’d say!
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
Again, a tough one – I really enjoy exploring the UK from the end of Cornwall up to beautiful Scotland. I’m fond of Greece though, having had a tremendous time snorkelling and lapping up the food and culture!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
This is simple…Spending quality time with my family and animals!
That's our Kayleigh. Keep an eye on our page for our next team member introduction 👀
