🎉 We just closed a $3.3M capital raise to accelerate the next phase of KiwiFibre... William and I have been building the company in phases since 2020, focussing on what’s directly in front of us. That has been the only way to do it. ✅ First phase: spend time with customers and understand the problem, establish what needs to happen and get started. ➡ Now: scale production, get to market, make the first customer happy. Really happy. We’re changing the way the world consumes materials. 🏭 Why? Technical, ecological and human health problems need to be solved. 🌿 How? We’re bringing a value-add, regenerative industry to NZ that encourages a sustainable transition of land use. Special thanks to Agnition Ventures for believing in the mission and leading this round, and Icehouse Ventures, K1W1, NZVC, Phase One Ventures, Startmate, Snowball Effect and our incredible angel investors.

Yesterday I was guest at the Intermodal Meetup hosted by Modility GmbH. Thank you very much for the interesting discussion about Corporate Startup Collaborations Ronja Stoffregen, Hendrik-Emmanuel Eichentopf and Martin Neuendorf as well as the invitation Nils Funke. 💡 I observe that more an more companies are practicing the Venture Clienting approach. What is interesting for me: Assuming that many core business problems are similar across companies, everybody is looking for the same solutions. 🤝 It therefore makes sense to join forces within an industry in order to find common solutions. I could imagine that Multi Corporate Venture Clienting could be the next evolution of this approach. 💫 We have been using a very similar approach for two years now in our Energy Transmission Ecosystem – and so far that leads to an increased innovation speed by lower cost.
