But who blames Jews as a nation? I guess the reason for protesting on the background is being against Israel's actions, politics and occupation; it is NOT related to hatred of Jews. It is thirst for justice.    I blame last October assault on HAMAS solely; there on video above the protest is not to justify that assault. It is to stop injustice. Injustice that feeds the rage which creates ‘hamases’ all around the world.     And for me, if my country will be taken piece-by-piece during 70 years on premise that there are people among my nation who don't like the taker, stealer of my land, I would not see 'hamas' grown among us as abnormal fenomena, rather, it would be the result of such injustice. And if whole the world will be keeping my nation without voice and depriving my nation of name and land and identity and borders, I would naturally see 'hamas' as only power on the side of justice.    But there are so many who runs after other than dignity things latter times... This is very perverted craft of message, and this is something Israel is very capable of producing in the hunt for Palestine. Highest standard of manipulation, so demanded in the West.

PRESS STATEMENT ------ JUSTICE BEFORE DIALOGUE 2nd July, 2024 President William Ruto, through his Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, recently announced the formation of a National Multi-Sectoral Forum (NMSF) aimed at engaging with all stakeholders to address the concerns raised by the youth following the anti-Finance Bill protests. The Atheists In Kenya Society would like the youth and all Kenyans of conscience TO REJECT dialogue with the Government of Kenya. Until the police officers responsible for the deaths of dozens of Kenyans are identified and prosecuted, and the families of the deceased are adequately and promptly compensated, we fail to see the purpose of any discussions with this Government. We are also DEMAND for the declaration of 25th June as a National Holiday and for flags to be flown at half-mast for a week in memory of the Kenyans who lost their lives during the protests. A National Holiday would serve as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made and the need for systemic change within the nation's law enforcement agencies. The Atheists In Kenya Society emphasized that accountability and justice must be prioritized before any meaningful dialogue can take place. Engaging in discussions without addressing these fundamental issues would undermine the grievances of those killed, shot, and abducted and perpetuate a cycle of impunity. We must foster a future where justice, transparency, and accountability are the cornerstones of governance. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved families.
