Your email won’t work anymore unless you follow these 3 new rules. 1 - Your emails need to be under a spam threshold limit. That limit is ideally .1% or lower. It can’t go above .3% or higher or else your emails won’t be getting placed in people’s inbox. 2 - They want you to authenticate your email. They want to make sure it is you sending out the emails and not someone pretending to be you. 3- You have to make it easy for people to opt-out. Simple way to continuously boost your email deliverability: Make your subscribers engage with you in the first email they received from you (can be in your welcome series). One way to do this is, ask them to reply "hey" to the email so you know they got it. If your welcome email is interesting and provides value to them, they are more likely to comply.

What I absolutely hate about email outreach... Spam words! 🙄 When you craft your email template, spend hours choosing every single word. Then check it for spam words, and boom, you have to rewrite the template once again. You probably heard about not using words like: free, opportunity, money, revenue, sales, etc. Why does it even matter? 👉 Email providers use algorithms to detect and filter out emails that appear to be spam. Common spam words trigger these filters, causing your email to be diverted to the spam or junk folder instead of the recipient’s inbox. 👉 Frequent use of spam words can lead to your email domain or IP address being blacklisted by ESPs, significantly reducing the chances of your emails being delivered at all. Check these things if you're wondering why your emails aren't making it to your readers' mailboxes: ▪ Content and Engagement: Recipients' response (or lack thereof) matters. Ignored emails or spam reports? Your delivery might suffer. ▪Sender Reputation: Your email street cred is vital.
