Our newly announced site will have the potential to produce up to 9,000 tonnes of biochar and sequester 17,000 tonnes of CO2 a year. Using @PYREG’s PX1500 & PX6000 machines, the site will go a long way in capturing meaningful amounts of carbon from the atmosphere using waste feedstock. #Biochar #CDR #ClimateTech

🧐Plastisphere is an ecosystem which colonizes, lives and evolves on plastic waste in the environment. Over a thousand different types of microorganisms (autotrophs, heterotrophs and symbionts) have been identified as being capable of populating plastics. These microorganisms are different from others in that they are capable of using plastic materials as a source of carbon for the development of their own biomass. I am NOT available & will not be replying to LinkedIn messages. After +15yrs of sacrifice, I am doing things differently #biochar & #bioenergy.
Scaling #biochar I have seen lots of posts talking about the need to scale #biochar quickly to have any hope of #adaptation & addressing #climatechange & role of #cdr #carbon #markets. A factor of 3x increase a year is often cited. So I thought I would share a simple calculation applying the rule of 3 to our own efforts & growing #organically. Starting with one plant that can generate 1000 CDR credits a year & leveraging income derived to build 3 more of the same each year for each plant operating. Thus Year 1 has 1 plant, Year 2 has 4 plants, Year 3 has 16 plants etc By end of Year 6 you end up with 1024 plants with a capacity of +1 million tonnes of CO2 #drawdown By Year 11 you are at 1 gigatonne/year. Investor capital is optional, essentially all those waiting for a sure thing bet will have missed out....

Chief Operations Officer at BX | Driving Sustainable Agriculture & Carbon Solutions | Empowering Farmers with Regenerative Technology
The latest "State of Carbon Dioxide Removal" report highlights the urgent need to scale up efforts to capture and store carbon to meet our climate targets. One standout method in agriculture is biochar. Biochar provides a sustainable way to retain carbon stored in woody biomass, offering dual benefits for both farmers and the environment. It's a growing movement within agriculture that helps implement effective CDR strategies. What's going to make it go fast? Enhanced support and incentives that help farmers adopt biochar are key - the carbon is already there, but we need access to financing and support to create a scalable solution. For a deeper dive into the findings and the role of biochar in carbon storage, check out the full report - https://lnkd.in/eaGS3wYa. Have you considered producing biochar from your farm waste? #CarbonCredits #CarbonSequestration #Sustainability #RegenerativeAgriculture #ClimateChange #Biochar

When we give life back to water by recycling and freeing it through our advanced “Nature Restorative“ technologies, we not only make water as a sustainable resource but also make earth a greener place to live in for the future generations. Aquatron is a NEW BOX Approach using basic principles of Physics and this ground-breaking technology works wonders with any kind of wastewater or sea water that is fed into the system. It has the ability to purify water to drinking water standards and not just that, it also produces ORP-ve / Alkaline water Naturally. Without using any chemical /biological / thermal treatment, MWTS’ Aquatron can make wastewater drinkable and also achieve ZLD. #easter #HappyEaster #WasteWater #WaterTech #WaterTechnology #WaterRecycle #WaterReuse #Aquatron #ORPNegative #AlkalineWater #Sustainable

GreenPower is an international Bio-Energy company. We specialize in the processes of “pyrolysis”, “gasification” and associated fuel preparation systems.
Organic carbon content in biochar as the main indicator of biochar characteristics Biochar, a carbon-rich material produced by pyrolysis, plays a pivotal role in carbon sequestration and reducing carbon footprint. Its effectiveness depends on the fixed carbon content, which measures the non-volatile carbon within the biochar. Higher fixed carbon content indicates greater resistance to biological and chemical degradation, allowing biochar to remain stable in the soil for extended periods, thereby capturing and storing carbon, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting long-term carbon sequestration Discover more by contacting us: 📞 +34960730009 | 📧 sales@greenpower.equipment | 🌐 https://lnkd.in/dhx42N6T #greenpower #charcoalfurnace #carbonizationfurnace #biochar #charcoalequipment #charcoal #pyrolysis #charcoalproduction #briquettes #shishacharcoal #ekko #biokiln #pyrolysisprocess #pyrolysistechnology #carbon #recycling #activatedcarbon #briquettes #SustainableSolutions

Do you know what biochar carbon removal is? 🤔 Biochar is a stable, carbon-rich form of charcoal made by heating organic waste materials (such as wood, agricultural residues, or other biomass) in a low-oxygen environment through a process called pyrolysis. This high-carbon substance can store carbon for hundreds to thousands of years, and has multiple benefits, including improving soil health, enhancing water retention, reducing the need for chemical fertilisers, and mitigating climate change by sequestering carbon 🙌 At Ecologi, we’ve been working with the family-run team at Woodtek to support the biochar production at their farm, Carbon Hill, located in the picturesque landscapes of Welshpool, Wales. Join us on a virtual visit to the site, to find out more about the process of creating biochar and how it’s used to enhance soil health and fertility. Your business can support carbon removal projects, such as biochar production, on the Ecologi Impact Shop 👉 https://lnkd.in/eJW5upeE #ForOurPlanet #ClimateAction #ClimateSolutions #CarbonRemoval #Biochar
