Hi everyone! I am here again after so long to reflect on my career after been silently reading and learning from all of your knowledgeable sharing. This year marks my seven year(in couple of months) with the same company and same department. There’s ups and downs along the way and l am grateful to be able to diversify my skills with the opportunity to switch to different roles.✨ Reflecting on my experience overseeing after-sales processes in the commercial air-conditioning industry, I can’t stress enough the crucial role it plays in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. 🌐💼 In my role, analyzing return and defect parts post-sales has been instrumental in identifying areas for improvement. Thrilled to be hopping on a plane today to be with the amazing team of Lloyd Companies in South Dakota! I'll be giving my "Customer Service Survival Guide" workshop for their teams. Who's in your foxhole? When the going gets tough, it’s not just about having the best people around you—it’s about having the right people. Back in the day, when I worked as an account executive for an LTL carrier, I learned just how crucial that is. I had just taken over a new territory that needed more volume - badly! It was so bad that I had a driver in my territory headed back half-full to the terminal daily. I needed a win and fast. We had a chance to land a new customer at a fairly new distribution center, and they were frustrated with late pick-ups from one of our competitors. We only had one shot to impress them with a 'trial shipment.' Time was tight, and things weren’t lining up. That’s when one of our local service center drivers stepped up. Despite already headed back to the service center and now out of route, he went out of his way to make that pickup happen. The dispatcher was unhappy with me, to say the least. His extra effort turned what could’ve been a lost opportunity into one of my biggest success stories, as that new customer became one of my largest accounts. And not surprisingly, that same driver is now a service center manager. It goes to show, right? Someone once told me, “You’re the person I want next to me in the foxhole,” and it made me think—do I have those people around me? The people in your foxhole should: - Lift you up no matter what. - Have your back, even in the toughest times. - Inspire and challenge you to grow. Do you have that at work? Are you that for others? Why working in retail is rewarding… 5. Sharing your talents and abilities. We all have different talents and abilities on and off the job. Today, was a perfect example how when I shared my humor while doing my job I had the privilege of witnessing a customer laugh for 3 minutes. After giving the customer his 2lbs of cod, he said “ thank-you , I haven’t laughed so much in years. You can hook me up the catch of the day anytime.” My reward was knowing I made a difference. My approach was simple. I saw the customer waiting at the seafood case, I said Ahoy Mate, what can I catch for you? He smiled, and went along with it and asked “Were you ice fishing earlier? I would like 2lbs of cod.” I responded, “ I did do some ice fishing, but my hook snapped, so I decided to start using my nets. How about some shrimp to go with your cod? “ He proceeded to laugh and said “why not, I’ll take a pound of the extra large cooked shrimp.” In just 3 minutes while helping a customer I succeeded to get two sales, made a customer smile, made a customer laugh and had fun at my job. All because I shared my own smile and talent on how to engage in customer service. In my opinion it’s very rewarding when you have a positive encounter with a customer that makes such an impact on them that they go out of their way to say thank-you.

I ensure that our daily operations run smoothly and I’m a helping hand for my department and colleagues whenever needed. • How would you describe your job in three words? Developing – Educational – Fun • What is the most important aspect of your job? The most important thing is making sure that our customers and retailers receive the help they need from us quickly and efficiently. • What’s your favourite product and why? Our marble bowl Tachi is my favourite. It has a unique weight, and white marble is a personal favourite of mine. It’s truly a must-have. • Do you have any hidden talents? It might not be a talent, but I love Christmas and decorating for it. 🎄🎅🏽 • What’s the funniest or most unusual thing that has happened to you at work? The best moments are when customers express their satisfaction with our service. That always makes me a bit extra happy.

Good Morning and welcome to this week's K.A.M. (Key Account Manager) recap! Today, we've got Chris Frampton ready to spill the tea on a recent victory we nailed thanks to some speedy teamwork in our Buffalo office. "On a Thursday afternoon our customer came to us asking for help. They had 40 containers that needed to be loaded for export within the next five days. This was a 9 hour round trip so not a quick turnaround. When the customer reached out we immediately designated a small team to handle this. In an industry where information needs to move as fast as possible, we wanted to make sure we were as organized as we could be. Having a sense of urgency means nothing if you aren’t working with purpose and intention. Holly Greiner Buckfelder, Mary Rodriguez, and Bryan Rautenstrauch CTB all jumped into action right away. Reaching out to see how many drivers were available, keeping in contact with the customer to get all the details needed to get drivers in motion. By the end of the day we had half of the containers on the schedule to drop within the next few days. Drivers were scheduled to pull and drop containers that Saturday. Many more were on the schedule to drop on Monday. The remainder were ready and scheduled around the designated booking cuts. Holly was in contact with the drivers, customer, and shipper throughout the weekend in order to keep everything coordinated and running as smoothly as possible." This recent win is just a taste of the amazing things happening here at Port X Logistics!
