🚀 Exciting Project Update: ECU Speed and Acceleration Control Using CANoe 🚀 I’m thrilled to share a project I’ve been working on that involves simulating ECU (Electronic Control Unit) speed and acceleration control using CANoe demo version by VECTOR Informatik . 🔸️This project showcases a comprehensive system with 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 ECUs: 𝐀𝐂𝐂 𝐄𝐂𝐔: Manages acceleration control. 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐂𝐔: Monitors and controls the speed. 🔸️𝑲𝒆𝒚 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔: 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐨𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞: Includes message definitions, signals, and network configurations for both ECUs. 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐋 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐬: 𝘌𝘊𝘜1 𝘈𝘊𝘊 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵: Handles acceleration signals and periodic updates. 𝘌𝘊𝘜2 𝘚𝘗𝘌𝘌𝘋 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵: Adjusts and monitors the speed based on the accelerator input. 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥: A user-friendly interface with: 𝘚𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩: Toggles acceleration on and off for the ACC ECU and is mapped to the ACC environment variable which is read by ECU 1 periodically and sent through CAN. 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘎𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘦: Displays the speed environment variable value that is updated by ECU2 in real-time. 𝘚𝘦𝘨𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺: Displays the speed environment variable value that is updated by ECU2 in real-time. 🔸️𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: The system is set up in 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦 using a virtual CAN bus which is tested with XL Control, allowing for robust testing and validation of ECU interactions in a controlled environment. 🔸️𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒘: - Initialize the system and start simulations. - Use the custom panel to interact with the ECUs. - Monitor real-time updates and control mechanisms. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dvHpzisQ I’m proud of how this project turned out and excited about the insights and skills gained in ECU simulation and CAPL scripting.
